It will be. Or, maybe something occurs that we don't understand yet. So it won't. Let me present my information, then you can decide......

First off, I have this:

New International Version (©1984)
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

New Living Translation (©2007)
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.

English Standard Version (©2001)
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

New American Standard Bible (©1995)
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.

International Standard Version (©2008)
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, because the first heaven and the first earth had disappeared, and the sea was gone.

GOD'S WORD® Translation (©1995)
I saw a new heaven and a new earth, because the first heaven and earth had disappeared, and the sea was gone.

King James Bible
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

American King James Version
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

American Standard Version
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more.

Yeah, it's bible stuff, but the point I'd like to extrapolate is that the sea is no more. WTF? The sea covers 75% of the land mass of the earth. If the sea is no more? That means every thing is land. What happens to all that water?

Next up is some more bible verses:

Isaiah 51:11 The ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Ok, it's better.

Isaiah 65:17 "Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

Ok, they brainwash us.

Isaiah 66:22 "As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before me," declares the LORD, "so will your name and descendants endure.

Uhm, we do good being brainwashed.

Romans 8:21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

Reconstruction of DNA, anyone?

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

Big huge BBQ. Human race?

2 Peter 3:13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.

Some survive.

Revelation 6:14 The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Blessed be Graham Hancock. This sounds exactly like his earth crust shift. However, it appears we lose atmosphere, so.....

Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them.

...we don't really need it after the paradigm shift. Wait for it......

THE BIBLE

Revelations
Chapter 21

21:1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.

SO there is NO heaven. NO earth either. NO sea.

21:2 I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.

Uhm, sounds like a spaceship to me....

21:3 I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, God's dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

God has been lonely, and he misses us.

21:4 He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away."

Here's the clincher. Immortality. New paradigm. Nothing like we have now. Interesting? It's metamorph for us, really?

21:5 He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true."

And of course we have to record this for posterity.

21:6 He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.

I am leery of anything that's free, however it seems like a genuine offer.

21:7 He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.

Sounds like a link up with a long lost relative. I'm not against that, unless he decides to hang around and drink all my beer.

21:8 But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

Well, I'm in this category of badness.....I'm not courageous, I am a skeptic, I am kinky in my sex life, however, I've never killed anyone, but I have committed adultery, I practice certain types of sorcery, however, I don't worship anything solid/real, and I lie to protect the innocent. The second death refers to being completely shut out. I have this nagging feeling I can BS my way through.

21:9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were loaded with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, "Come here. I will show you the wife, the Lamb's bride."

OK, kewl.

21:10 He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

Uhm, Definately extra-terrestial. Space-ship for sure. Remember, there is no sea, no ocean, when this occurs.

21:11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, as if it was a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

Yes, it got a new wax job, of course, new and shiny, regardless of 2k years flying through interstellar space.

21:12 having a great and high wall; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.

I despise numerology. Something can be had with some twistings of the number 12.

21:13 On the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

Cube, 3 gates on each side, got it......cube, 12 gates.

21:14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.

Ok, So.....

21:15 He who spoke with me had for a measure, a golden reed, to measure the city, its gates, and its walls.

This is gonna take a long time. One golden reed, to measure 1500 miles? Argh, that'd drive me crazy.

21:16 The city lies foursquare, and its length is as great as its breadth. He measured the city with the reed, Twelve thousand twelve stadia. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.

Proves the cube shape. How long did it really take?

21:17 Its wall is one hundred forty-four cubits, by the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.

Pretty thick wall, EH? Adds alot of mass to a space ship coming down from heaven. Hmm, I'm not privy to the superior technology, but I guess they have it in the future, however, technology would allow a bit slimmer wall. The author was perhaps still thinking stone, eh?

21:18 The construction of its wall was jasper. The city was pure gold, like pure glass.

Ok. Why build a wall of jasper? Why make buildings of gold?

21:19 The foundations of the city's wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;

Colorful....

21:20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; and the twelfth, amethyst.

And pretty.....but functional?

21:21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each one of the gates was made of one pearl. The street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

Pearl gates. Uh huh. Pearls come from oysters, but really, you'd need a gargantuan oyster to make one gate. There are twelve. The logistics fail me. The streets, however, can be defined. We use copper and aluminum for electrical currents. Platinum is the best conductor of electricity, followed by gold, then aluminum and copper. If we do become spiritual beings, a gold conductor would be able to zoom us along very fast. That means that angels have the ability to zoom around heaven because of the streets of gold.

21:22 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple.

So we have a new power source.

21:23 The city has no need for the sun, neither of the moon, to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Ok, check-up time. This 1500 mile wide space-ship lands, boards all the worthy, then takes off for an unknown galactic destination. That's because the earth has no more ocean, the only thing that can do that is a solar flare, perhaps, so anyway, the space-ship has no need of the sun or moon. Self-contained power source. Advanced tech.

21:24 The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.

SO it seems the right thing to do.

21:25 Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there),

Free access? Really? And they call it an it, meaning space-ship, right?

21:26 and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter.

It again, an object, a space-ship reference. Something that lands, and accepts citizens of different nations.

21:27 There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Except there is no solid definition of who gets their name in the Lamb's book of life.

Space-ship decides who can enter, AI, of course, and the earth has no sea, wow, so it's destroyed.

its symbolic for a start of a utopia on earth and the death of the people who cannot in their hearts find it to move forward into this golden era approaching.

my opinion of course. But i know deep down, the earth will still be in one piece. I can't say the same about the 7 billion population.

lol my fav line "God has been lonely, and he misses us." lol.

very nice read. i completely agree with your interpretation S&F. all ancient history talks about the gods/flesh gods/people from the sky/the cloud people/the watchers/etc - the list goes on forever.... - aka people/beings that came to Earth from ?(somewhere else). it would be crazy not to think the Bible was any acception to that common theme.

I normally steer clear of all things religiosity, however that was an unusual and interesting read. Oh and from my understanding it gets taken out by Nuclear. What we need 'is' a SpaceArk. Space Ark. Spaceark.

Oh there will be a new world, in fact, I believe it already exists, waiting for it's new inhabitants to arrive. And I think I have been there, but cannot be certain, of course. I was taken to a pristine world, just like this one, only much smaller, and told that I would be spending a great many years here, until Earth has again stabilized, and had regained homeostasis. It was beautiful, and I think it is only for a select few too. No, I cannot say who.

I personally always take the literal road; I get so tired of Mythology as if it were some Fairy Tale. Even if it is unbelievable or fantastical I cannot help but believe literally that there really are Angels as much as there really are Demons. We have GOD, God/Gods, and then we have Lords. The one we must discard are the "Lords" as they have self-served themselves our world for far too long. I would much rather live under a God in my attempt at reaching GOD than spend a single moment being consumed by a Lord who is nothing but a mortal with a Demon Complex.

Thanks for the read, it does appear that the final throws of man may very well be saved after-all; all I know is that he will mess up the rest of the Universe if he cannot get rid of that Demon suckling off of his soul.
