Billions of people everywhere are scrambled in one giant rat race. For material wealth, for glory, for whatever gain a person may desire they sacrifice their time for.

How many hours have you worked in your entire life? Looking back at all those hours, those moments, they probably feel like the time just went by. One could say that was all wasted time, but that was time that was needed in order to survive in the 'system' we live in.

People perpetuate fake identities everywhere to fit into different social roles, not knowing who they really are. Some people search their entire lives to be happy never to find it anywhere externally. Some people search within themselves to find what they're looking for. We can only get so close to breaking free from the system before we need to run back to it in order to survive.

What's life like outside of society, the day to day endless menial grinds?

And this all leads to the biggest question..

What's really important in life?

The simple answer....

Life is what is important in life.

Health.

When we are healthy, we seldom think about what it feels like to be sick. But when we are really and truly sick, all we can think about is being healthy again.

This makes you able to get everything else.

What else would we be doing if we weren't working?

Either farming or hunting, right? Well that's working isn't it?

I don't mind working, just as long as it is for an ethical organisation who isn't out to rip people off or take advantage of others such as exploiting the so called third world.

I work to live. I have a decent income and actually enjoy my job. But I always make time for my family and have at least two holidays per year with them and occasional weekends away.

Family, having fun, music and sport are probably the most important things to me. Although spending time on ATS is getting closer to joining the list. Peace.

I think being happy. Why be alive if you're not happy?

I always liked listening to Dannion Brinkley (who died several times and conversed with angels) say that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. He says that love is the most important force. I live with two 'animals' everyday (but they are so much more) and they love me so much, constantly displaying this. You have to live that, in order to know. Also the love of your next-of-kin family. It truly is unconditional. Believe me, I had been unworthy.

Being happy in your own skin. That means not having regrets of the past, learn from your mistakes though. Plan for the future and work towards it BUT be happy with the person you are TODAY. We only get one shot at life. Enjoy it. Don't mourn what might have been. Or may be.

For all to be happy, to live with love and peace. To live and enjoy life to the maximum while having respect for all others. To be treated as you wish to be treated, to be loved as you wish to be loved.

You are the master of your destiny, you have the choice of freewill. the choice has always been yours. Life is a rollercoaster, make the best of it, you chose your life, now live it. Your thoughts can be negative or positive. Life itself has always been the best teacher. Learn we are all one and you within that oneness are also unique.

Peace and love to you all.

The real answer is "what YOU want".

Some people want nothing more than to see their kids grow up to be healthy happy and successful, and would die happy if they saw that happen.
Some people hate kids, but wish to put all their energy into helping homeless people.
Some people hate that, but want to dedicate their life to finding a cure for some horrible disease.
Some people love business. The doing of deals, the back and forth trading of tactics and the joy of beating a competitor.
Some people want to raise pigs on a farm in the middle of nowhere.

Its important to
- find what you want to do
- not to get trapped in a life that somebody else wants you to do, or finding that you spend all your life trying to please somebody else, or just simply doing the "expected" thing of wife, kids, house, dog, 9to5 job because you really didnt know what other alternatives you might have liked better and everyone else was doing it.

What's important in life is the continuation of life. To multiply. But, to what end? The path we are on, whether it be tomorrow or a billion years from now, is one of destruction. Doesn't matter if that destruction is by our own hand, or a meteor slamming into the earth, or the sun burning out; one way or another our time on this rock is limited. Our primary goal should not be one of personal wealth or even happiness. No, our primary goal should be to find a way out of here! Out of the solar system. Out of the galaxy. If mankind is to survive, then our purpose should be to get every child working in the sciences.

To follow what your beliefs are and practice the 'religion' of Life.

When that is accomplished, there is no need for a tug of war to say what is good or evil.

Happiness, love, and just enjoy every moment you have on earth. Money is great, but it can only do so much. I'm not rich, and in some instances, I'm glad. Yeah, to be able to buy whatever you want, never have to work again are great, but unless you have someone standing by your side that will go through the ugliness of life, money is worth nothing.

Now is the most important thing in life. Finding joy in now, regardless of what now is, there is joy in now. Don't let anyone, regardless of who they are and what your relationship is to them, don't let them take your now, because your now may be all THEY have. Now is the only time in which you truly relate to the Great Spirit, the Creator of all. Seek your now, hold your now and help others to find the grace of now.

Now is all you ever really have. Love is always eternally now. Now is everything that was and ever will be.

There is no fear in the bliss of now. There is no worry in seeing the now. There is no need for hope in now because all hope is fulfilled in now.

All good dwells in now. Evil can only exist in now if you are out of sync with now.

Life is nothing but a wavelike progression of now. Your life is no longer yesterday and it may never be tomorrow, but it is always now.

Live now.

Conan: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.

Mongol General: That is good! That is good.
