Want to take a peek at some of the CIA's mail?

The CIA declassified a report in 2001 that was an internal compliation of all the strange mail and requests the CIA gets. Its entitled "Crank, Nuts, and Screwballs". ITs a humerous read. From the guy tht offred to infiltrate a eastern block uranium mine. He was concerened about radiation and intened to wrap his pivate areas in tin foil, to the guy that offered to do contract killing for the and would use his meat grinder to dispose of the bodies Its amusing to see that the CIA is the target for this type of mail. You have to wonder what kind of stuff the NSA gets

So much for fan mail. Well the NSA has to get some crazy mail since they get all the mail thanks to Echelon. I guess the mail room is the last place I'd like to work.

Kind of have to wonder what possesed some of these people to offer thier services to the CIA. I wonder if the FBI did a little look/see after they got these letters?

That would be funny if the CIA took some of this mail seriously.

Clearly these would be PRE 911 spies. GOing to create quite a scene at the metal detector.....

Maybe this is why the 9/11 commision wants a director of intelligence. Just imagine what kind of mail the president gets.
