I dont often post in this forum but i saw this video and i found it truly amazing. The human spirt is an incredible thing. Getting right back up after the provervbial kick in the balls. It has some religous background stuff going on. That dont do it for me but the runner in that race can be an inspiration to us all.

For me the fall of Heather Dorniden isnt the story here.
Its what on earth were the other runners doing?!? For someone to come back from a 20 yard disadvantage, then pass every other runner to win in just ONE lap just shows me the other runners are simply retarded.

Well she definitely had the need to win, didn't she?

Awesome story, for sure. The religious stuff I don't go for but lol
Still a very inspiring story, to say the least.

Wow, she's fast. good for her.

That comment at the end is completely unnecessary. I'm sure christ caused her to run fast, right? come on.
she was clearly running faster than the others before she fell.

Well, having learned to tolerate the Christian stuff a while ago, that doesn't bother me.

The race is interesting, and I certainly don't want to dismiss any sense of inspiration that you might be feeling, because that tends to come to whomever needs it when it is needed.

I for one, don't see this as inspirational. I see it as a human doing what it takes to reach the goal they have set for themselves. This is how it should be. Perhaps the inspirational part is that she remembers it when so many of us have long since forgotten it.

wow I've never seen something like that ever happen in a race. I've had the chance to make it to nationals before for relay but the only reason I did was because the guy who would of made it that year during the school athletics carnival ran his the finals 100m with a pie in his hand. lol

Glory does not come in never falling, but in rising each time we fall. Most of us would have given up after a fall like that. However, this girl did not. She simply got up and strove harder to reach her goal, which of course was to be first across the finish line.

I was thinking that the 1 second of rest she got while on the ground enabled here to catch and pass her oponents. They were wearing down and she got back up almost like a fresh runner. Had she never run track a single day in her life, how much would Christ have done for her?

Runner falls and still wins, great story.

The real story here is the video posters religion or choice of crappy/good music?

Give it a rest once in awhile.
