Is the government in a race against Wikileaks?

Recently there have been many more UFO sightings than usual, and then there is the release of documents by the FBI and NSA. All this suggests to me that they are preparing the world for disclosure.

Now it may be possible that they know Wikileaks has information on ET, and the government wants to disclose this before Wikileaks can. This will save them a lot of face, and they can alter the story. They could for example tell us that they have only come into contact with them recently, rather than as far back as we think; and, hence, could rubbish a lot of what Wikileaks says.

I think the governments of all the countries are afraid of
wikileaks as they don't know what can be disclosed to
the public.

Is it not believed that wikileaks is just an extension of the governments propaganda machine? That is my personal opinion anyways.

I agree there has been alot of Hoax UFO vids and fake FBI/NASA documents released recently.

wikileaks have stated that they have no evidenece of UFO's.

they have stated that there is a reference in a cable to something by someone but there is certainly no proof or evidence in their cables of any ufo's.

Wikileaks spokesman recently made a very good point recently that nobody seems to be interested in. We have all seen the kinda of crap governments are up to in these cables. It shows the true colors of people and how politics really works. However this info is all from confidential cables. Assange admits that the have no top secret files. NONE. He states there is a whole other world in operation under 'top secret' that we know nothing about. Its very lightly we are not going to find out anything about it anytime soon.

I would counter that by saying recently there have been a lot of youtube Hoaxes and misidentifications of normal planes and lanterns or natural phenomena .
I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary , maybe you could point something out that hasn't been shown to have a prosaic explanation .

As far as I'm aware there was nothing new released , the documents have been available for years , all that is new is the delivery method .
The document that everybody seems to have latched onto turned out to be an exercise in code breaking and not as has been reported messages from ET .

Julian Assange has poured water over that Idea , the only reference to ET in the leaked documents are in diplomatic cables , so no actual revelations or evidence just diplomatic chatter .

The only people that think disclosure is coming are the ones making money from propagating the idea , and I am not that convinced that they believe it really , it just sells books and puts bums on seats .

Not generally no.

Although the propaganda machine controlled by those on the sharpish end of various Wikileaks revelations would dearly love for *that* particular rumour to be spread around the planet...of course.

You go ahead and believe what you're told to believe if that's your bag mate, but some evidence or dare i say it, proof of your conviction in this regard would be nice.

There is ample proof that Wikileaks releases information that while *not* illegal, or even improper from Wikileaks' point of view, it showing how the USA government (as an example among others) *is illegal and improper* (and highly embarrassing) from the point of view of what they have been getting up to.

Let's be logical about the UFO/ET question for a moment.

The oft stated reason for non disclosure has *always* revolved around the desire to prevent panic among the public, that is assumed or expected to break out after disclosure.

Poppycock.

Energy systems on this planet would change...almost overnight. No more dirty, inefficient polluting fossil energy, no more dangerous and very, very, very dirty nuclear energy (because the waste is far more dangerous to us than the emissions from a coal fired station would be!)

Control systems on this planet would change...almost overnight. No more sanctimonious, 'burn in hell' fearmongering, brainwashing, *so called* religious controllers. No more governmental secrecy and under the table deals at our expense. The freedom of the people to effectively self rule and autonomy of movement.

Systems of war and conflict on this planet would change..almost overnight. No more arms industries pumping out DU, radioactive weaponry to rain down on innocents, no more terrifying WMD threatening the world every day they exist, no more arms manufacturer lobbyists, passing hundreds of millions $ under the table to secure preferential voting from *your* elected employees. No more contrived conflicts to increase weapons sales, stolen resource reserves, and political hegemony, at the expense of hundreds of thousands of human lives.

These *ARE* the reasons for non disclosure.

There are no other reasons of consequence, especially the worn out and frankly pathetic excuse of 'public panic'!

The only way these power crazed idiots, who routinely steal control from us the people will be forced to admit what 70% of us already know to be the truth of this huge subject, is if someone, some principled nation or some information organisation like Wikileaks release first, or threaten to release first thereby forcing the issue.

'They' will not give up these power structures and lines of control, forged over centuries of conniving and scheming, without a fight or a whimper.

We need to force them folks...they'll not go quietly into the night.

With how slow Wikileaks is about releasing anything, I can't imagine it ever being called a race. the hardest part for Wikileaks is to remain relevant. They have reams and reams of information. Yet nothing really ever gets released.

Yes, I too would like to know the answer to this. I posed on another forum about the FBI UFO files, provided a link, and all I got was "fake!!" it is sad that so many deny the existence of ETs, and somehow believe that we all alone in the great big universe, where a white bearded man sits in the sky and directs everything we do and say, and plans a punishment for everyone. I share your frustration mate, but look at the situation with both eyes wide open, and you'll see that in comparison to world governments and their monopoly on information, Wikileaks is a relative newborn.

Governments have been sitting on, obscuring, ridiculing information regarding UFOs/ET for at least *70 years*.

Wikileaks has only been around about a single year in total.

Granted, Wikileaks has been conspicuous in it's silence about this subject, but i'm certain we ain't ever going to see anything from the government, without organisations like WL pushing and forcing the issue.

Give it time.

This is a great post many levels.

The UFO theory is always of interest... I'm not really in agreement that there is some unusual rash of ufo stories (false-flag or otherwise) lately. Like many on the site that have remained current on this topic a long span of time, there is rarely a shortage of those available.

For me though, when I noticed the title of the thread I interpreted what might be the OP's angle before coming here. The publicity behind Osama's death clouded some other really important issues. The actions and reactions have been a wreck to follow. So many conspiracy theories being sprayed like chem trails across the net that I have indeed felt there was such a weird, unsettling reaction to the events as the media would like us to believe them WOULD make sense if they really were just attempting to thwart a massive WIKILEAKS uncovering of information.

Some but not all of us will stick around to see what becomes of the UFO stock value... which of course would be tested by any major economic recovery.

It's just all tied toghether so neatly, almost too neatly to keep bound within the constraints of the UFO topic.

Wikileaks has given a few anti-ET/UFO believer messages over the last couple years. They aren't interested in the subject and likely would ignore any information pertaining to it if given to them.

As far as I've seen there has been nothing concerning disclosure visible to me in any mainstream media. I've seen the same extraterrestrial material rehashed over and over again since the 1950s. Its gotten more refined and less human over the years as special effects have gotten better, but I do not see any media push that would lead me to conclude any ET/UFO information in the mainstream is anything more than the usual for-profit ventures.

There is good reason to believe that. You have to ask yourself of all the people, why is it assange who gets exposure in the massmedia?

Well, not exactly. Not everything on YouTube is true, judge it by yourself, but it's obvious that most of the videos are hoax.

The FBI and NSA documents aren't something new. And by the way they aren't something substantial.

How do you know that WikiLeaks documents are the truth ? Everybody has the rights to believe everything that they want to. But, this files may be truthful but may be not.
