War Dogs! Super Cool Photo Essay

A Super Cool Photo Essay on War Dogs and there services. Apparently one was brought on the raid that took down OBL. These dogs do everything from sky dive, jump out of Choppers into the sea, patrol, and sniff out the bad guys

I have a close friend who is a K9 officer with the Air Force. Whilst these dogs are an incredible resource, they also suffer PTSD and other issues related to their job. Sad reality to it all.

I'm reminded of a scene from that movie "The 13th Warrior"

Viking 2: Shouldn't be too hard, they don't keep dogs.

Yeah thats the sad part. I hear storys of the Dogs suffering from PTSD also. It takes them years to recover, some never do. :-(

The sadest storys i heard were dogs of Vietnam. The Army WOULD NOT let the service men take them home after the war, they were "equipment". and just like alot of the "equipment" in vietnam, they were left there, in there cages! 100's of dogs left to die of hunger, abanded as the men had to leave them under orders.

I watched that story on the history channel and the guys were cry that they had to leave their best friends that saved there lives many time behind.

It was really sad

Personally, I'm waiting for the gov't to create Dog Boys. Dog Boys are from an RPG game, called Rifts. Quick Description: Dog Boys are genetically uplifted from domestic canine or wolf stock and grown in laboratories. What comes out are bipedal dogs with opposable thumbs and can speak and understand human languages.

Imagine man's best friend armed with weapons and in combat armor. They genetically are loyal to humans and will easily sacrifice themselves to protect you. Best of all you can communicate with them like they are human...

"Hey, Mr. Wiggle. There's a bomb in that building. Find it and radio me when you do."

"Fido, hold here and defend until you are relieved."

"Spot! Throw a grenade into that window 3rd from the left."
