OK, in High School I had a friend whose dad was some high rank in military. One day we were talking about aliens, and she tells me "Oh yea! They exist. You know my dad is in military? He told me once that the gov't has bodies and they know all about aliens and their existence".

I remember our conversation was brief, not sure why, I think we went on to talk about... boys -.- ... I know... I could have squeezed more info out of her.
However, this is a confirmation for me, because I've met her dad and he IS something in the military... not some private. She isn't a liar either, and she said it so causally so I am 99% sure she told me the truth.

Ever since Anonymous got involved with Wikileaks people on ATS have been looking up to them like they're some powerful group of hackers that are out to fight the good fight for the average citizen.

Scroll down to number 6 on this list and tell me if you still think Anonymous would be interested in "speeding up disclosure" - www.cracked.com...

This is the type of cause Anonymous really gets into. Some of you may know them only for their attacks on Scientology or their defense of the WikiLeaks leakers. You probably don't know that for every one "good" deed, they perform several hundred like this. And by "like this," we mean they hunted down the personal information of an 11-year-old girl, including her home address and phone number, and began calling her house at all hours and making death threats. Hundreds and hundreds of 4chan posters jumped onboard, unified in their drive to terrorize a small child.

Meanwhile, Anonymous went back to their favorite hobby: Defacing Facebook memorial pages of dead children. LOL!

I think you are a little bit confused. Anonymus is not a single person or a group. Everybody is Anonymus and vice versa. You can be Anonymus as well. I get why you think Anonymus is bad because of some things but only a few are just kids who don´t care about the "cause". Anonymus are lawyers,teachers,housewifes,mechanics and so on i even bet some people from law enforcements are Anonymus too.

I think you are incredibly naive if you think there could be a common goal or "cause" for Anonymous.
You said it yourself, anyone can be Anonymous, therefore anyone can use the name when claiming responsibility for something, like flooding 9-1-1 call centers with prank calls so people with real problems can't get through.

It tells me out of 7 some odd billion people that there have been millions of claims "limited" it's something worth believing in. I agree lying may not be the best approach, so let's hear some constructive ideas on how we can bring attention to Disclosing the fact that there is intelligent life beyond our world. Here's an idea: Wake up to reality. Nothing you do or say on the internet is going to have any kind of "cascading" effect on even a single person off of this site.

Or wait, did you actually think you're going to "bring attention" to "disclosure" with your brilliant scheme to contact a bunch of hackers?

I know Anonymous isn't one person with one view point and it isn't just one troll doing stupid stuff, however I would look at them not as an entity but an idea that anyone can make a difference and there are so many different ways of going about things. Things are non-linear and theres no reason to get upset or try to interpret MY interpretation of Anonymous especially when I have only used them as an example of one way we could get mass information out at once since they have the capabilities and the man power.

So for everyone else who is looking at this like I'm trying to force or press my ideology is sadly mistaken and wasting your time trying to battle or argue, All I asked for was ways that we could potentially open many eyes to the existence of life beyond Earth, I hope that doesn't blow too many minds in the ATS community... I know you trolls have a fragile state of mind and love to try to pick things apart and stray from the topic.

Anyone with any ideas to contribute please throw them out there and who cares what the haters think, my time isn't theirs to waste.

That's interesting, time to look her up in the year-book perhaps and see what else she knows lol. Like that wouldn't be an awkward conversation after so long lol, but I think its interesting that so many people probably have these bits and pieces of information, I wonder how her father approached the subject, I've been curious if any of the ATSers that believe in aliens have told their children or dropped hints, how would you bring something like that up I wonder... turn on the movie Paul and see how they react? lol

I understand what you mean, it seems like a fruitless effort. But I guess everything has to start somewhere and I honestly don't think I will have any part in disclosure or groundbreaking news, but it would be cool to see if we can come up with a way the masses would be more receptive.

Sigh you make a good point, so this is more just for entertaining the thought than producing results. I would indeed love to see the sheeple wake up though wouldn't you?
