Osama: Better off alive?

OK, the running "conspiracy" on ATS is that OBL is still alive. Can we for once accept that our government may have actually done something they said they did sans the conspiracy?

My question though--did killing OBL put the world more in danger for terrorism than if he was simply left to live and closely monitored for the rest of his professional "career" as the head of al-Q? Even though we may not see retaliatory attacks, people around the world are now living under the belief that they are due to come--hence all the beefed up security.

So what do you think--better off alive?

Forgetting all the retractions of stories,and if he in fact didnt die many years ago,It would look so much better if America went to pakistan,captured osama alive and brought him to justice,if indeed he is all what he is suppossed to be,

In a nutshell it would so much better if he was spirited awat alive.America would still have the moral authority,have the power and mystyc it wants its people to belive it has.It sounds like it was an option as he was unarmed,depending on which tale you go with,But if you go their to deliver some old wild west vengance and symbolicly kill a boogie man,then stick with the #in story and show the proof!o not quickly dispose of the body!!!!!

If its all a fabrication,America ficked it up!
If it actually happened,and they killed osama,America #ed it all up!!!!
