A simple programming dream.

You are in the military, you pull Ramirez to safety twice.
You are in the military, you perform heroic deeds.

A seed was planted in you in the 4th dimensional dream state: Join the military, be a hero.

The original seed was probably implanted long ago and the OP dream is just reinforcement, as you already plan to join the army after you are done with school.
