Here’s Nancy Pelosi from a press conference on September 7, 2006:

And here’s Nancy Pelosi yesterday:

It underscores the degree to which partisanship can ravage people’s fair-mindedness and, in the process, make them look like fools and hacks. Such things aren’t uncommon in politics—but what is rare is to see such intellectual dishonesty proven so conclusively.

so her big acheivment is the health care bill that, in her words, 'we have to pass so we can find out what's in it'?
she and most of her constituents are seriously out of touch with reality.

Why let modern civilities and possible jail time deter you? Years ago she'd have been burned at the stake as a witch...by TPTB. So you all cleaned up your act. Lookin good now.

The biggest incident I remember were how she praised the protesters under Bush but mocked, ridiculed, and described as terrorists protesters under Obama.

She's just a hack.

Everyone with half to three quarters of a functioning brain is aware that "we" was used collectively in that sentence being inclusive to mean "we the people."
"We the people" will only really find out all the advantages that apply to us as individuals (read: WE) in this historic piece of legislature when it is up and running.

"You will have to go to school little Joey so you can find out how much fun it is" does not indicate mother is sending little Joey into the pits of the unknown. Mother knows darn well what school is. Now it's time for little Joey to find out. And find out he did. Nobody that needed that health care bill passed is letting go of it now they have a chance to see how it works for them. That is what she meant and truth be known, she was right.

But love is blind. And name calling doesn't really do anything at all but make the name caller feel a little better. In the end we will still have the health care bill. I think history will treat this "hack" very well indeed.

Her biggest accomplishment and the reason she didn't need to stay in the house another term, she help deliver by mandate hard working Americans into the hands of the corrupt insurance companies.

And the poster child for their bill was the State of Massachusetts and their failing health care system that was bailed out before the bill was passed so it didn't collapse while Obama was doing this campaign for it.
