Te reason they don't have visible reproductive organs is that it's very cold in space.

Because according to all the hippies here, they've gone into some ultra-spiritual mode. So they can just have mind-sex.

I've read they closer to plant than mamal too. Makes for an interesting thought

but I think they may be remote drone bodies.
you just make a strong body that you send out.

yes they could just be worker bodies.
but I can see in about 20 years.
we will have the technology to make a
clone and send it out to do dangerous work.
just think about it.
radiation spill clean ups. just keep sending bodies in.
use them for test flights.
you could uses them to send to Mares.
drop of transceivers every so often.
and you could have a lot of space men to to work on the ship.
then they disconnect and go home and relaxes.
no mental problems with long journeys.
thats what the aliens may be doing now!

It's certainly possible. A hive mind controlling drones linked to a group consciousness is another possibility. They could also be clones. Very intelligent clones would not be allowed to reproduce I would imagine. They could turn out to be a threat if allowed to establish their own civilization with tech stolen from their creators. Or they could be in fact clones of their own choice, a dying race in need of new genetic material to revive their damaged DNA. In my belief everything that we can think of and more we cannot fathom is possible in the multiverse where every possibility is realized. If it's not true in this universe it must exist in another. It boggles my mind when I ponder whether conspiracy theorists are right 100% of the time, but they just got the wrong universe picked for their conspiracy.
