I personally, disagree with several of Starkey's points. The substance was gel like, not acid . Starkey has, at times, a habit of believing anything that explains something as mundane without actually going that much deeper into the case. I don't buy the *family kidnapping* synopsis in this case at all. If that were true why didn't his wife call the police and say. "I think my husband has been kidnapped"? If it was because she was afraid she might suffer some sort of threat to her own safety, that alone would have meant the police would have had to have reopened the case. In the final analysis, we are talking about a guy dying as a result of his ordeal and the supposed perpetrators, then covering up the evidence. That's a whole rack of offenses, the police don't just sit idly by and ignore, no matter how long after the event it might have been.

To this day, we still only have pure speculation as to the actual cause of Adamski's death, it was put down as "Heart failure" was and the *ointment* used to , seemingly, treat the burns he received remains totally unidentified.
