I know this appears silly, but let it sink in. . . . We lost Superman!

Uh oh looks like Superman's joined the globalists. Now we're really screwed!

At least we've still got this guy!

Ooh, Superman where are you now
When everything's gone wrong somehow?
The men of steel, the men of power
Are losing control by the hour

This is the time, this is the place
So we look for the future
But there's not much love to go round
Tell me why, this is a land of confusion

To be fair there already is a Captain Canada. Marvel also has a Canadian Captain America equivalent in Guardian. People also seem to forget the Marvel Civil War where Captain America fought against the U.S. government due to the Super Hero Registration Act.

Like everything else that started and gained popularity in America first he is going global. *

We should be happy for companies that do this but at the same time seems we are left behind - like unwanted parents.
After we give them everything, get them started and keep them going, when they get big enough to venture out on their own - they kick us to the curb.

Before we let this happen again in America we should have our Superheros (and companies like Coke and McDonalds) agree to KEEP IT HERE! Or share the overseas profits with Americans, in the form of reduced prices and other perks etc as a reward for their patronage and loyalty.

Just a thought.
An exclusivity clause for corporations
or for everyone who uses the American public as a launching pad for their success.

Superman is a traitor. We should ban the man.
Anyone in tights and not on Broadway is a little hard to take seriously anyway.

I remember it vividly...I am still vividly pissed about it too.
As I recall he submitted to the Government in the end as well. I was so mad when I read it.
I don't think it takes a genius to see the message there. Captain America= Gun Control Rights, Iron Man = Military Industrial Complex. in short, yes Patriots you will be defeated by the N.W.O

Thanks for all the reply's.

We've lost an icon. It's like saying the Statue of Liberty stands for Tunisian liberation.

Um, nope. Superman was ours. Superman was American. Superman was a role-model. Now?

Just another damned metrosexual-globalist. When is he going to swap out the "S" for a "NWO"?

Meanwhile ladies and gentlemen, REAL LIFE BECKONS...

As hard as this may be for some to understand, the man in blue and red spandex who flies and shoots weird cellophane S's off his chest is are you ready?....Purely fictional and are non issues.

I like superman, has always been one of my favorite self righteous superheros. But whatever I have real matters to attend beyond that of theatrical presentations and stage drama.

I would like to state in light of my last comment that my opinion would change dramatically if I were to hear Superman speaking with a British accent.

That would just be wrong, wrong wrong!!!

Truth justice and the American way,...Well maybe this losing superman is yet another letter chiseled into our nations tombstone.

Superman is as real as Obama's foreign policy plans. It looks nice, but in real life?
Meh.

This is a reflection of what we look at ourselves, as Americans. Superman is not just a comic book hero. He is a (was a ) reflection of EVERY American.

Alas, no more. In every sense.

I do agree with you.
In the fact that superman came about during a time of world war and assisted us.."fictionally" in crushing our enemies and bringing about world peace is uniquely American and to rename it as anything else is sad.

Superman is Kryptonian first and American second.

Now for a little musical intermission from Superman himself...

If I go crazy will you still call me Superman? If I'm alive and well will you be there holding my hand? I'll keep you safe and warm with my superhuman might my kryptonite.

Going to make a new action man doll. His super power is going to be very similar to the Hulk. But instead of the "Hulk smash", he is going to do "The Bash "....

Usually against woman and children of course. Not people who can fight back.

Any ideas on what he should look like and where his home town should be. South Auckland or maybe somewhere mid-North Island.

He is going to be called "Patriarchal Man" , because he believes in his culture the oldest male automatically gets the most respect. Which leaves the youngest female with basically none. So it is ok to beat them to death.

I think it will only be popular with a certain demographic, but I think I would sell a few .
