We're getting the tail as I type, but yea the past month has been the weirdest weather i've seen down here, and no one can tell me it's normal because we've never had weeks back to back where almost every county was under a tornado warning...

Just to be real with yall, last night was some of the scariest weather I've ever been in. And I rode out 2 hurricanes living in Houston!

The wind started kicking up and gusting in the 60's here in Downtown Atlanta. (according to the news)
All at once a couple of tranformers blew out and the wind just started whistling like a freakin horror movie for like 15-20 minutes straight, and I'm talking lightning almost NON STOP. My daughter was sooooo scared and for a second I was getting really nervous. We live in a condo downtown (right where the 2008 downtown tornado touched down) and don't have a crawl space or basement.

You are very young from a geological standpoint. Its hard to say.
some decades are bound to have more storms than others.

Don't know which of the States this is, but I'm sure this is happening in many, it seems from Texas to Georgia and so much of the farmland. Just devasting, like the tsunami's for the damage.

i haven't been able to find news as to whether or not the browns ferry nuclear plant is back to standard power instead of the diesel generators. but for now i'll say, it's back to standard power.

The nation's unprecedented April tornado-fest continued full force last night, with NOAA's Storm Prediction Center logging 57 tornado reports, 295 cases of damaging thunderstorm winds, and 254 reports of large hail. The 2-day tornado count from this latest huge April tornado outbreak is already 102. With another "high risk" forecast for tornadoes today, the tornado total for this week's outbreak may rival the April 14 - 16 tornado outbreak (155 confirmed tornadoes) as the greatest April tornado outbreak in history. It is unprecedented to have two such massive tornado outbreaks occur so close together, and the April preliminary tornado count of [654] is truly stunning. Even adjusting this number downwards 15% (the typical over-count in preliminary tornado reports) yields a probable April tornado total of 550.

So many deaths, and so many from that terrible hail, I saw photos, the size of your palm with spikes. Children must have been caught in that at school, just terrible.

And the deaths are only small portion, what about all the injuries?
