I see things at night. Horrible things. Watching me from the shadows. It started about two or three months back, I started seeing this... unexplainable things around my house at night. It is as if they are there... but not actually there. Slipping between realities, shadows, I can not describe it. This has been a recurring thing, ever since it started, almost every night I will see these beings watching me from my windows. Up until last night, I did not think that they were there to cause me any harm, until last night. I was sleeping out in my recliner, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw a figure standing out my window. It looked to be about 8~ feet tall, or maybe floating, but it was a shadow figure, almost ape like in appearance. It was floating/standing by my window, which is at least seven feet off the ground, and it just stood there for a while, shifting back and forth. The shadowy figures I see in the woods at night have never come that close, and I had begun to start seeing them as some sort of guardians, watchers over the house, but last night, I really am not sure anymore. This shadow stood there for about ten seconds, before dissapating, in which there were no more disturbences that night. I am terrified of what the shadow figures might do next, or if they even exist and I'm not just insane. Does anyone have any suggestions as to WHY they are doing this, and why they appear to me so often? I am terrified to even look out my windows at night, let alone go outside. I don't know what could be waiting for me out there. Please, if some of you know how I can resolve this, or at least give me some answers to why I am seeing them, I would appreciate it greatly.

OK, my take is this. You are not crazy and the being won't cause you any harm. I believe it is testing you and admittedly I would be bricking myself as well. my only advice is to confront it or communicate with it (he can hear your thoughts and feel your feelings). That's if it is what i think it is.

I have to say, this may sound strange but I wish I was in your position because I would love to confront a being, imagine the courage it takes...

I think it might be due to, too much electromagnetic radiation in your house being emitted by various sources like from cordless telephone, wi-fi modems, nearby cell phone towers. Such frequencies can mess with human brain waves. And you might feel ringing in ears, fear without any cause and visions as you have described. So my advice is you should remove electromagnetic radiation sources from your home.

Go get professional psychological help, immediately. Do not bring it to a conspiracy forum where all you will get are seriously effed up answers like the ones above. They will only feed your delusions.

I would confront an 'it' if there was one, but there are multiple entities, they fluctuate from two or three to as many as a dozen, it is terrifying to see so many of them, especially when one comes up to the window. If you have any suggestions on how I can contact them... well, I guess I don't have much of a choice.

Schizophrenia is much different than this, but I still have doubts on my sanity. If I was schizophrantic however, I would see things much much crazier than shadow men, and I would probably have had it all my life, and not out of the blue.

And as far as the powerlines/brain waves go, I highly doubt that would be the case, as there is nothing in the area that could cause such a thing. My home is secluded, very far into the wilderness, but I will see if that could possibly be the case anyway.

Possibly, but I have experience with beings, and yes I would brick myself but it would be worth it. Beings don't go round people's houses to torment so he must be able to handle it.

When it comes to negative spiritual encounter I tend to try to remember the facts as I understand them.

The fuel these connections require are the fear, or more clearly the fear of a lack of control over a situation.

What you focus on energy wise , from my experience has alot to do with your outcome, and yes imagination comes into it as that is your avenue to understand the spiritual.

First realize, you are in control of the situation, normally I would suggest refferancing your higher power/ guide/ whatever to maintain focus on possitivity. Man by his nature has the ability to decide with wich to fill his cup.

Good rule to follow......the way an encounter begins....is how it continues. A harassing entity tends to be there for just that reason...that alone is power over you. The more you "converse" or play the more the control...like codependance.

Look for the possitive encounters is my heartfelt suggestion, your ability to experience the former most likely means you are more than ready to live in the latter. And distraction is to be expected.

Peace.

Do not tell me what I should or shouldn't do. That is the short road to getting on my bad side. The paranormal does exist, and I wish to see if there are any other people whom have heard of this before, or expierienced it themselves.

Don't be paralyzed by it. I have woken up to see a little grey half invisible standing by my bed and thought it was quite cool (I was also paralyzed and couldn't move or speak). They must have some sort of relationship with you. Have you had any other experiences before?

I have, on occasions throughout my life, had expieriences with creatures I can not explain, seen things out of the corner of my eyes, heard things and seen things that no one else has heard, but nothing like this before.

Well, I would see it as an invitation to take things a little further. Just don't believe you are crazy. I've had 'crazy' experiences but am the most sane person you will ever talk to.
Have they done anything negative?

Well, besides scaring me pantsless, and the occasional mischief in some of my childhood homes, no. When I was 9 years old, I lived in a house where there were other 'children', entities that reminded me of kids my own age, and they moved my toys around and misplaced things, but nothing malevolant. That house was built in the 1800s, and had survived through the Civil War, so I didn't really think it was out of place for it to be haunted.

When I was in fourth grade, we moved to my grandparents home, as my grandfather had died recently, and my grandmother had been commited to a nursing home much before that, and there odd things happened, TVs turned on and off, keyboards typed by themselves, moniters and game consoles turned on and off by themselves, things such as wallets and toys and other miscellanious things went missing only to turn up several days later somewhere we had checked fifty times over. That added to seeing things occasionally outside the house, sometimes taking the form of 'goblins', for lack of a better term, things my grandparents had both seen while living there they said, along with haunting nightmares of odd, hard to comprehend creatures, things that looked to out of this world to exist, but I am sure that some of them were not dreams, but it always happened in the dead of night, I would see this horrible things. Nothing ever attempted to hurt me, and eventually I just learned to live with it and sign it off as just a wild imagination, dreams, but after last nights incident, I am not sure anymore.

The fact that nothing has happened to you shows how fear is an illusion. If you really want them to go away just affirm it with all you've got and show that you are not afraid.
Or you can just speak to them. As you go to bed decide that you are going to get to the bottom of it. Something will happen, maybe a dream.
I don't really want to give advice but it's what works for me an as I said before, I wish i were in your position because if you can overcome this then what's stoppin' yer!

Come on man. How can you say someone is a schizophrenic, your just adding to the fear.
People start out seeing something odd, then thinking their possibly mad because it shouldn't exist, then getting it confirmed by everyone else ending who hasn't experienced such a thing ending up in a cycle.
What if you were just to say, OK this happened and what of it?

It's not like I see things that don't make any sense, nor do I see them only at night. The things I have seen do not appear to be symptoms of schizophrenia.

I am adding to the fear? I'm gining a possible explanation of what it could be that's causing these things he 'sees'.
I'm not adding to the fear at all. It might be a good idea to see someone that can help him if this is a recurring thing.

Telling him it's a paranormal thing is not causing more fear?
You should also read some forums of people with schizofrenia and their real stories. Nothing paranormal about that.

I've tried to make my point, your's is just as valid (to you and maybe others), that's all.
