Better for pomp and ceremony that watching an American election.
Royalty is something that is not respected, usually out of jealousy but it is interesting to note the security of countries that have a secure
monarchy... Monaco, Belgium, Denmark, Lichenstein, Oman, Bahrain, Dubai, Brunei etc.
Having a successon of Kings or Queens tends to bring more security than a president with an agenda different to the government before and one before
that etc. It's not always the case as history is full of bad Kings as well as bad presidents and leaders.
But democracy is not all it's cracked up to be. I feel safer in Dubai, Brunei or Monaco than I do in USA or Australia. The UK is becoming more like
an Islamic country ever year and you'll see more in jeans in streets like Lahore than you'll sometime see in parts of London. (ok so I got off
topic).
I like the principle of a monarchy, I'd feel secure under one without a separate government.
