Fast approaching is the 2012 election. And all though that there are many who think the current POTUS has done a swell job, his approval numbers would contradict that.

But the question is, who then take up the slack, and take the Republican nomination? Especially when many of whom no longer view this country as a republic. With the ever increasing expenditures of the military complex, and the refusal to eliminate Unconstitutional social programs, who then stand up and rise against the machine.

Ron Paul over the course of his entire career, has always stood out. His voting record has proven that he is for the people, by the people. He stands up against the MSM, and at the very least, attempts to take on the Federal Reserve, and the central banking monopoly.

Could it be then? Ron Paul taking one last crack at POTUS. The coming next few days should present themselves as interesting.

I couldn't care less about Republican, Dem, Lib, Con...and whatever else is out there. They're all the same anyway.

How about just for once voting for the person? Remember JFK?

Ron Paul may be a lot of things but what he stands for is solid....

The Constitution!

When Obama was running, you could see right thru the lies and he proved it only Months after getting in. All lies.

He is once more promising the same things as before and people are lining up to swallow the Kool-Aid again. Amazing!

Ron isn't promising anything but a chance at a different approach and after the last 12 yrs, it might just be the breath of fresh air that America, and the World needs.

It would be great if he runs, but I have a feeling he doesn't want to give up his position on the monetary committee or similar positions his seniority as a congressman would grant him.

I would agree with your stance. Ron has based his political foundation on the principles of the Constitution, and the will of the people. I would hope that he runs...for our sake.

If he runs, he'll have my vote again.

(probably won't matter, as without a major PR push with major money, nobody will know who he is, but at least I'll vote for someone I WANT to see in that office).

Maybe if he gets Jesse and Trump on his team, and they campaign together? That would be a pretty powerful campaign group!

I would love to see Paul take this campaign seriously, and get some mainstream coverage. He'd have my vote if it looked like he stood half a chance!

Ron Paul isn't president yet, but he did stay in a holiday inn express last night.

On Tuesday Ron Paul makes his announcement he'll be giving it a third try to run for president in 2012.

Ron Paul Launches Presidential Campaign Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, whose outspoken libertarian views and folksy style made him a cult hero during two previous presidential campaigns, will announce on Tuesday that he's going to try a third time. Sources close to Paul, who is in his 12th term in the House, said he will unveil an exploratory presidential committee, a key step in gearing up for a White House race. He will also unveil the campaign’s leadership team in Iowa, where the first votes of the presidential election will be cast in caucuses next year.

May we be so lucky to get a representative that actually knows what he's talking about!

Nope, one can always look at the brighter side of things. Hopefully, with his voting in, we can really make " change " that we can believe in!

For once, I wish people would stand outside the box and not go with the traditional Republican or Democrat, and vote for someone that is neither of those two party's. What would anyone have to lose, how much worse can it be. If we stay with the same bunch, it will get only worse. We need to get someone in that won't be owned by these powers that hide in the shadows. And if we get someone in like that, we better protect him or her with everything we got.

Agreed, me personally I would prefer to vote for someone who represents the independents. But thus far, we have no such candidate.
