very strange though but i once saw a man under a motorway bridge with 4 mice hanging by their tales to a stick so nothing really surprises me anymore.

Get real, the head is the trophy, the tail is where the meat is, the rest is useless. Some poor soul was probably trying to feed their family. Aliens,really?

Seriously, i don't know many pets attacking predators. But for them maybe, the balance has changed

Lets just think about our options here. Theson's possible cause contains logic.

The OP contains a link, a picture, and a shout.

Then we have another possibility that appears to be an opinion written in a way that the writer is attempting to show it as a fact, but has given absolutely nothing to back it up.

A group calling itself the Easter Orphans noticed the croc when celebrating their Easter on the quiet beach.

Due to this^^ statement in the article, I would even take a religious cult sacrifice as an actual possibility.

Where is there anything at all, that even slightly hints towards this having to do with some sort of alien species??

DUUUUUDE! I would have to say that in rememberence of AVP, The head was used as a shield and the tail as a weapon, IMO that is.

Of all seriousness though, this is very strange. There are numerous explanations I believe.
1. Revenge for eating a child?
2. Hungry......why wait?
3. Black market smugglers can get by with a head and tail rather then whole skin. (Skin will show how it was killed).
4. Unexplained reasons.

Looking at the photo, the tail is clearly cut, not bitten.
A human did this, no aliens involved, sorry.
