Hmmmmmm.... As I said, I was part of THE ORIGINAL TP Movement, before websites like the ones advertising with those signs, even caught a wiff of it.... The only national media that covered us was RT. Other than that it was a few local channels.

And I've already stated that that is all well and good but does nothing to disprove the claim that that the 'Tea Party", as it exists today, is nothing more than a wing of the corporate GOP. Which is what you are trying to argue against.

(Also, that photo is from early 2009, hardly that removed from the late november time-frame you are referencing)

Dude, I hate the republic when I consider a technocracy.

The government...no government on earth will ever allow for my vision to be implemented...does that mean I think the current government is corrupt because the majority want something else?

I do not feel oppressed. I do not feel the government is not hearing me...I simply see my view as not the popular one...and no, they cannot somehow manage to make me happy while following their constituents that brought them into power to begin with.

I don't feel they are corrupt for listening to the majority...Its my job to get my view and vision out so that 51% will decide to let my vision go and ignore the opposition.

oh well.

The basic idea behind the Tea Party is immoral and anti-human.
They didn’t say a peep when George Bush was killing thousands of HUMAN BEINGS in the Iraq war and at the same time busting the deficit wide open. But when the country tried to give health care to the needy then they started their crusade.

So what is the ethics behind this group?
They have no regard for all the dead people in the Iraq war but yell and scream over a national health Care plan!

Where are their priorities?
Where is their humanity?
Where is their human empathy?
Where is their compassion?
Where is their common sense?
Where is their concern for the average American?

They are concerned with the taxes that rich people pay!

Calling it a fact twice (or even a 'big fact', whatever that is) does not make it so.

I wouldn't expect yo to post your IRS returns (especially since you have previously stated you believe all taxes are theft) but AT LEAST provide even the most rudimentary figures to show your opinion is supported by those 'big facts'.

I know nothing, other than the NY, CT and MASS TP I have been with from the beginning, and am still in contact with. We still don't get any funding, we still stand for the same things. We are still individuals with common goals, and some differences of opinions on other areas. I am willing to bet most TP groups are the same. And to clarify, we don't carry cards, and screen people that join our protests. That would be unamerican. Now maybe you know why people join our protests with hateful signs etc.

That's what they do in these discussions when pressed for evidence.

They just keep moving the goal posts.

You are talking to one of the original TP members here. I actually dumped teabags into the boston harbor, during Ron Paul's campaign for presidency. I say you are full of it, it was a bunch of normal people, that latched onto an idea, and went with it. There were no rich people funding us, we paid for our own teabags.

Not talking about the paul tea party

talking about the now mainstream TPE, which is a different animal

the paul movement initially was rallying against the bush tax cuts and the hyper spending of bush. it carried on and the second O jumped in, faux news and koch took and stole the party.

I have a issue with the original tea party mind you, but only their namesake...the movement of responsible conservative fiscal policys is a good movement, but the tea party itself is a old american movement of taxation without representation...which is not what even paul's party is about

like me making a party "Holocast survivors" and make it about people whom survived the bush years...it is almost historically insulting.

Ron Paul speaking out against tax cuts? Hmmm, doesn't sound like Paul. Maybe left-leaning fans thought he supported such things. Bush overspending, yah I would agree as Libertarians are for limited govt, less taxes, less spending. That's the ticket!

I am not compulsive, but from your answer it just looks to me like that you are not a very informed person, so it seems my first impression about your lack of background knowledge was right. Thanks for the confirmation.

Doritos are definitely more expensive, and milk, and pretty much everything because both Democrats and Republicans are spending too much. That is what the T party is saying. Michael Savage once said that Bush Jr was a fiscal Socialist. I would agree. But what can you do when you have runaway spending due to politicians giving money to lobbyists like there's no tomorrow and please don't get me started on the Socialisation of healthcare. We already had medicare and medicaid, and Democrats want it totally Socialised. We can't afford it.

Really?
At least I read economist authors from all the tendencies, unlike you who only know how to repeat McCarthy's propaganda. I even wouldn't be surprised if you read only the "drawing book" version of Ayn Rand. X-D
