I got arrested for making a joke in NY

I just happen to pass by a cyclist getting a ticket, and I just made a light joke about the guy's bike and they all jumped out and arrested me. wtf !!!

If I lived in the US I would get arrested daily, I'm not a bad guy just cheeky... Some Police in the UK can actually take a joke.

I tell the guy, that he's a grown man and he knows it's against the law to ride on the side....

What did they charge you with?

everything they could, harrasement, resisiting arrest etc...
I wasn't even talking to the stupid cop, he's the one that started talking to me!

Well, 9 cops to arrest you for making a joke, and you can hear it it the video, grown man not supposed to be riding on the sidewalk, you know that! 9 cops later your arrested and got what? yeah, your right, you were arrested for making a joke because the cops definitely escalated on you, not the other way round. Sad!

We have video proof, you should take that to court and sue them for wrongful imprisonment.

I have my doubts about you being really the guy on the video. Can you take a pic of the street corner with timestamp or something? And the arrest report with names etc. of course blocked out.
