Can someone please explain what this could be

I was driving to my bank today and saw a wired ring around the sun so I took a picture of it. After i got home I looked at the photo and saw a wired bright dot in the picture. I did not see this bright object when i was looking at the ring around the sun. I am very elementry in the space field. It is most likley nothing, But if someone knows what it could be please let me know

It’s a halo, they're created by ice in the upper atmosphere.

Edit;
The bright dot is a lens flare, its caused by the suns light reflecting off the internal elements of the camera.

What device did you use to make the picture?

Most devices that take pictures sometimes shows images as a result of the device and not what it being pictured...

Or...

The second ring plus that tiny bright dot to the right of the main sun yet within the second ring is something I too want an explanation of!

I took it with my cell phone Sprint EVO

defcon's on it.

I would say either it's something in the sky or just a simple lens flare.

It appears to be a lens flare. They often appear like that with 2 'dots'.

Yep....since you took the pic through glass (right?) it's lens flare. I know the halo is a natural thing, but it has been like that a lot lately.

hmm i think it looks like a Dyson ring.

NASA has the technology to build such things they just don't want us to know about it. whatever cloaking device they are using to hide these monumental structures from the public probably had a temporary malfunction. that would explain why the ring suddenly became visible.

If you mean the ring, then that looks like a halo caused by ice crystals in the atmosphere. If you are talking about the two dots, they are probably lens flare

No the picture was not taken threw the glass I took it out of my car in the parking lot
