Well like other posters have said, maybe it is just releasing pressure, it kind of sounds like it since it is in multiple areas at decent levels.

I just hope the big one won't be for a bit longer, I have just a bit more prep work to do

Hope for the best for everyone in Cali.

this is just a short example of the many that are there..if we combine this with the rumbling sounds and now a thread from Thermo Klein with his prediction..it's getting interesting indeed.

Here's the link to his thread: www.abovetopsecret.com...

OP could you maybe look up the guidelines for posting a thread on ATS? Before you post another one?
Please. This is what you call a minimal post. Besides the fact that EQs in Cali arn't that interesting unless
they can be called a temblor. So you just posted a minimal thread about next to nothing. Leaves a lot of room for improvement. As a brighter note.

And you also didn't read the thread. It's so cool how people go out of their way to demonstrate when they've only glanced at the title and the first post.

For the third time in two pages, from one of several people to already point this out, I live in California and I watch the quake map every day. These quakes are not typical activity. They are in different locations and of stronger magnitudes coming at greater frequency. Some of us really do know how many California quakes there are every day -- and also where they are, how strong they are, and how often they come. That's how we know that the current activity is unusual, see?

Oh well, how long have you lived in California ? Now look at location on my avatar.

Did the other posts tell you to check out the guidelines. I'll check.

Nope!

I live in Riverside and constantly track this stuff, I do notice an increase in little ones, hopefully they wont get much bigger =/ I haven't felt a thing though, but then again I'd probably think it was something else since I never notice anything under 3.5ish.

Best of luck to us all, I've got my bag and shoes ready just in case

Nothing to see move along you say?
So your right, at this moment in time, there are no major tremors. What about tomorrow or the next day? We don't know when it's coming, only that it is coming, sooner or later, it's coming. Probably be the biggest CA/Baja has ever seen. So stop telling people it's nothing. If they want to keep an eye on unusual activity, so what, how does that hurt you? Are they starting mass panic in the streets? NO
What makes any of you people out there think that the earth is going to make an announcement "Giant EQ coming"
Look at the activity prior to Japan's. How many of you experts out there said 'it's nothing, just same old thing, they have them all the time"
OP, welcome to the site. It can take a while to learn all the do's and don'ts on here. Don't worry, the post police can't come to your house.
Some people worry about EQ's,
others......post etiquette.

The Greater LA area quakes concern me - one yesterday and now today.
A major earthquake in LA would be very destructive. Hope its just
releasing pressure and not a preliminary to anything larger.

Hey crazydaisy howdy..if you get a chance take a look at the map I posted here: www.abovetopsecret.com...

Here's a map of today using google earth with the earthquake add on and the volcano add on I'll post a few links for that, anyway this is live quake activity take a look at the quakes in comparison to the volcano locations, We have a perfect circle or ring! this is pretty scary stuff indeed.

I hate to quote myself but I'm to lazy to retype it all..this was StealthyKats observation about the rumbling noise sounding like a volcano..
