But, somehow, if only temporarily, liberals are getting their way allowing illegals into America. We'll see how that plan works out in the future.

Right because when theres a republican in the oval office the border magically seals shut and no illegals get through.

The flow has been non stop for at least 40 years.

And I like the way Mexican President Calderone was a guest at Obama's White House, at which time Calderone scolded Americans for their American ways. All over the media. While Obama applauded and beamed like a new father.

Father to the North American Union. Probably handed out cigars and everything. Could have even been Cuban cigars if they found a way for Raul Castro to come around and play ball.

In the event your child or family member dies at the hands of somone who was on the influence of any or all drugs you would rescind that stupid comment.

Prohibition actually leads to more death and misery. Read up on the results of prohibition in America. Al Capone and many other men made a fortune. A lot of it was because they didn't hesitate to "eliminate" their competition. There were also thousands of people made sick or worse by home brewed alcohol that had no quality control.

Anybody that has seriously studied the history of prohibition knows it doesn't work. Emotions usually make for better tag lines though.

I agree with you one hundred percent. A lot of politicians made fortunes during Prohibition. Can anyone say Joe Kennedy?

Goes for many areas of Big Brother government control. Take for example the Second Amendment. Any time the Democrats outlaw a particular right of the Second Amendment, that particular right of the Second Amendment becomes readily available through sales from friends and family members.

Legalizing marijuana won't stop Los Zetas from dealing and killing like mad dogs. The illegal sale of cigarettes is far larger than the sale of marijuana, and cigarettes are legal. There will always be a price war. The illegal sale of gasoline is a huge money maker for the Russian Mafia. Just another price war.

Gangs like Los Zetas will find anything to kill for. Stolen automobiles. Prostitution. You name it, it doesn't have to be weed. These are not nice people in any way, shape or form.

And they are taking over territory right here in America, under our noses.

A prescient thought: If Los Zetas didn't have marijuana to sell, they could be hired as someone's personal security force. I hear they have enough weapons, already.

Right they are guns for hire like Xe Services (formerly known as Blackwater). So if they incorporate in the US and stop chopping off peoples heads then they can be accepted as a legit business.

Maybe you didn't get the full tongue in cheek picture. Los Zetas and other street gangs are hired by La Cosa Nostra and the Russian Mafia to do their dirty work. Like, hired hit men. Street corner drug couriers and dealers. The guys who abuse kidnapped women, preparing them for a life of prostitution. La Cosa Nostra and the Russian Mafia is very sophisticated in that they don't get their hands dirty. The run the white collar end of the business, while letting Los Zetas do the bang bang work.

The thing is that since their inception they have been nothing but mercs. They are not a street gang. They are more like the colombian FARC than the MS13. More like Xe than the Hell's Angels. Someone put them together for a specific reason unlike most street gangs that often form in prison or in a neighborhood where a group of kids (more often than not) come together to watch each others backs.

the legalization of drugs is sheer insanity seriously come on legalize coc aine? legalize heroin? why so the liberals can make so medicaid and medicare will pay for then it will be free and then look and the cost of entitlement programs in this country.

Your message is both badly timed and ironic. There was a time where a kid could go to the corner pharmacy and buy their mom some heroin. During that time, there were not thousands of people dying in a drug war, but there were the exact same percentage of people with severe addition problems to drugs. Look up the facts.

The irony is in the fact that alcohol is a hard drug nearly as or possibly just as bad as coc aine and heroin in terms of long-term health effects. Where are all the people (like you?) clamoring to return to its prohibition? There are times when the solutions to problems are already right in front of our face and yet ignored completely. During the early 1900's there were a few people abusing alcohol, so they tried making it against federal law to make the stuff. Then, a decade or two later crime begun to run rampant. Nasty gang violence started spreading like wildfire. SOUND FAMILIAR? Then, the alcohol ban was repealed. And finally the gang problem subsided and the violent deaths came to a standstill.

Several decades later, prohibition returned. This time they didn't bother to create an amendment prohibiting it since they knew people like you would support them totally ignoring the constitution as if it were nothing more than toilet paper. And several decades later, as if like clockwork almost, the gang problem returned just like could easily be predicted, drug use continued in equal or greater numbers, just like could easily be predicted, and the amazingly wrong people exclaiming how insane it would be to end prohibition UNpredictably returned. That wasn't predictable, since you would hope people would learn from history even if they can't learn from moral reasoning and the basic principles of liberty. Predictably, prohibition will end when the gang problem gets out of control, which is right about where we are at today. And predictably, the violence will go away without any increase on the number of drug addicts (just as there was no decrease when prohibition started!)

There will be a time when people realize that people's own body should be their own choice. Until then, there will be authoritarians shoving their opinions down other people's throat.

Heroin is legal by the way... with the correct government permission slip. Put your actions where your mouth is if you are so sure of your incorrect belief and work towards taking away those permission slips. No?
