More koran burning... What's going to be the outcome??

This is interesting, Author of "Disciple of Disguise" Tony Stanton urinated on copied pages of the Koran to protest the protesters storming the embassy in Afghanistan and the subsequent murder/killing of other Muslims. He was in a mental ward at a local hospital as of last week...I don't know if he was ever released...his book is available on Amazon com...

Its hard to argue with you because of that wonderful curly picture, but the passage you quoted is about pagans converting to Christianity and burning their books as symbol of doing so. There is a big difference.
the whole point of being a Christian is to strive to be like Jesus. Would Jesus commit such an act of hate? No.

Actually.. Christ is about ' loving one another ' and ' Loving your enemies '
with that said:
the burning of the koran not only exposes the hate and lies within the koran. but in fact, will prevent blind followers in recieving the koran as truth.

this act of burning a koran is ' not ' an act of violence, but actually a means to salvation.

salvation by exposing the hate filled souls with hopes all sleeping muslims and people pondering the faith of islam will see the hatred of islam under the light.

I think if someone is so hair-trigger violent that just because you heard some redneck a world away burned some pages of a book that there are a million copies of (and that one was probably printed in the USA) that you go and raise hell and kill people for it then I don't have much respect for them as a logical compassionate human being.

If he had broken into some shrine and burned the only copy of some religious relic, yeah I could see being really pissed off about that. I could even understand being "upset" upon even hearing that someone burned a worthless copy of a religious book, but mass riots and killing people at the mere mention of some idiot in another country doing something stupid? Come on. If that is all you need to push you over the edge to murder, then you are a cold blooded murderer to start with, and the world would probably be a better place without you.

Last I heard, there is supposed to be a lot of people burning korans on 9/11 this year. Some people are holding public gatherings on private land to toss korans and pork into bonfires. I've heard this from numerous sources. It's not going main stream because they are afraid of backlash before they can even get to it. I've also heard from some sources that muslims will be doing the same thing with bibles and torahs the day after 9/11 in response. Should be interesting.

I threw a bible in the garbage the other day because it was worn out an some of the pages were torn. Do any of you Christians want to kill me? I didn't think so.

Interestingly enough, the proper way of disposing of a Koran that is damaged is to burn it, bury it , or toss it into a "clean" lake, or better yet, a running body of water.
