This was posted a year ago:

www.washingtonpost.com...

Now look at where we are:

www.prisonplanet.com...

What they are not making a big deal out of is that most of those poker sites had servers out of the country. What gives the American government the right to stick their nose in every country, every issue? We are reviled around the world and frankly I don't blame them. I wish they understood that the majority of us do not agree with our renegade government's actions. That we feel just as helpless as they do when they see the cami suits kicking their doors in. WTH is going on that TPTB are making a mad dash to gather all of the land, property, money, resources, and on the same note steal prosperity out of our very hands.

It's not the U.S Government, they are just the puppets.

The masters holding the strings also hold the strings of most of the other world governments, so that's how they manage it. Peace.

I'm not sure how the first link (internet regulation) flows with the second link.

This has little to do with internet regulation as it's related to fraud and money laundering that was taking place via these poker sites. I agree the FCC has no jurisdiction over the internet. This is a case of financial fraud and seizing the domain is perfectly legal. Now if you want to talk about all the torrent indexing sites seized, yes, that's just retarded and illegal. This is a case of fraud and the only tie to the internet is that it's an online business.

now if only we could get large corporations in trouble for the same offenses.

I think you've listened to 1 too many hours of Infowars radio.

I agree with you, but it's the US government they are using as a front. And the whole world despises us for it.

Not necessarily. The connection is that the US has no right to seize domains. I will add a few other examples of this. They are attacking anything online that is making a large amount of money. How many of our major banks just get caught laundering money as well. Yet you don't see the US government closing them down. Hope I made the connection a little clearer

I think it's rude to demean someone else's interests just because you can't see what they are talking about. I hope everyone is interested in current events and gets their info anyway they can. This is a place to share, not criticize.
