There needs to be more publicity about the affects of GM foods. It makes me feel helpless to do anything when not even the farmers and scientists can
make a difference when its their farms and their jobs and they're actually trying to change things. It seems like the only thing we can do as
consumers is stop buying it, but then how can we tell when there's not labeling in the US of GM foods? I found this website below that has some good
tips on how to ID GM fruit and other foods. I had heard it before, but somehow I forgot that you can look at the PLU number on fruit and if its 5
numbers with an 8 then its GM. I think I tried that once and only found a label with more than 5 numbers, so does anyone else have any ideas on what
we can do?

It is great to see the scientist and media getting together to take on GMO. The whole thing is just one big disaster from the self regulation and
short term profit motive with quite a few studies around showing the harmful effects of it. We are forced by government regulation to eat this as it
gets hidden in the food supply, this is a mistake, a really big mistake.
Thanks for the link,I have been trying to weed out the gmo products as well as the aspartames, msg, frutose, and other poisons from our diet and
the link you provided will help even more.I hope the video will open some eyes up as to what is happening to the scientist that know the truth of
these crops............it's not nice to fool with mother nature!
I was watching a program on tv about this earlier and they were researching the effects of it and quite frankly all they were doing is selling it.
They didn't mention anything negative about it.
the program was called Bang goes the theory

I must've missed it when this thread crossed the boards and was just made aware of this documentary. I'll be watching it just as soon as I can. We
need as many whistleblowers against Monsanto as possible. So, I hope they continue to come out of the woodwork.
