I think I'll keep my commentary to a minimum here, for a change, and just translate whatever I can.

0:22- "No unnecessary shooting! No unnecessary shooting!"
0:30- "Listen carefully guys, nobody move, if anybody moves we're shooting gas"
0:44- "An entire system has been trying to hide the footage we see here, it isn't every day that an operational # up gets photographed like this"
1:32- In the middle of the desert behind those wall is one of the most highly secured prisons in Israel. 5 years ago the IDF transferred control of these prisons to the Israeli prison system.
1:55- "This is operation 'Early awakening' one of it's objectives is increasing staff moral and confidence (in dealing with the prisoners)"
2:16- "This is the first time that the prison SWAT unit comes in contact with this prison"
2:21- "The surprising entry of this unit to the prison means to the prisoners only one thing- A declaration of war"
2:58- "The objective- The preform a surprise search of contraband items in one section of the prisoner's quarters"
3:31- This isn't live fire, but rather some kind of paint ball gun we'll here about in a few minutes
3:35- "No more grenade throwing."
3:50- "Listen carefully guys, don't move, if anybody moves we'll fire gas grenades"
3:54- "The prisoners are stunned from the surprise attack, resistance is minimal"
4:19- "They're putting a foreign element, a SWAT unit, into something that is not combat, but rather a detaining facility"
4:33- "Everybody, inside, now"
4:36- "Ten minutes pass, and riots start in the nearby sections, sections which the unit was not planning on taking over.
4:44- One of the prisoners to the guards "# you, you #ers, whores, all of you"
4:51- "This is exactly the scenario the prison intl feared, but the SWAT unit was not informed, they're confused, an operation that was planned for one section alone goes out of control"
5:04- "They lit a fire"
5:12- The reporter then tells the story of the prison commander who had two dangerous Hamas operatives escape under his command, and in spite of that he remained in command.
6:43- "When their operation loses control prison commands sends the SWAT to break in to the rest of the section"
7:00- "But the remaining sections were not a part of the plan, the entry is disorganized, nobody even bothered to give them keys to the gates"
7:09- "Guys, take it slow, open the gate, and I don't want anybody shooting here"
7:19- "Everyone, do not advance, move slowly (calmly), take positions here to control all of these nimrods, nobody moves, okay?"
7:24- "To all the prisoners, this is the last time, whoever comes out and lies on their belly will not be hurt"
7:34- "The negotiator negotiates with the prisoners, but at the same time two of his comrades enter the row of tents on the right, the tents are dark, and it's very hard to see in them, but in spite of that the two, that recognize prisoners and the back of the tent throwing objects, do not hesitate to fire"
7:52- "This is the last time before we fire gas grenades"
7:54- A shot is heard in one of the tents, the rest of the force yells "No firing! No firing!"
7:57- "The unit members shout to their friends to safety their weapons, but they've lost contact with them, the almost blind fire in the tents continue, at this point I doubt any of them even remember why they even went out for this operation in the first place"
8:11- "They fired at us with weapons we've never seen before, when it hits your body it shatters, when it hurt my back it hurt like hell" The ammunition type is top secret, even though they insist it's not intended to kill.
8:56- Bottles still being thrown
8:58- "Medic, medic" "No firing!"
9:00- "Medic over here!"
9:02- "Medic, one of the prisoners is injured!"
9:04- "This shot critically injures one of the prisoners"

10:43- "Nobody approaches to offer treatment to the prisoner, he is forced to treat his own wound"
11:20- "Sit on the floor! Sit on the floor, don't move!"
11:50- These are the two lawyers who brought this to light, the one on the left first got involved with the case and revealed all the details.
11:59- "He was cuffed to the bed, his parents came to see him as he was dying, and found their son cuffed to the bed, and when he died he was still cuffed, and this, in my eyes, symbolizes how these people aren't treated like human beings"
12:24- "(The lawyer) Kalmanovitch, a religious woman, who grew up in a settlement, decides not to remain silent, she goes to court with the other lawyer and demands to investigate the cause of this death"
12:39- "They try to hide they're M.Os and everything, it's better for them to work in secrecy, because the more you find out, the more questions you can ask"
12:58- "Amongst the operation's documents she found more disturbing facts- The unit operatives fired at prisoners even when there wasn't clear danger for their lives, the prison guards that accompanied the SWAT unit weren't capable of doing this task"
13:24- "This event has resulted in the lethal, tragic, unintentional wounding of one of the prisoners, when there wasn't an intention for it to come to that point, but since then and to this day night searches are routine procedure"
13:43- "Increasing moral and confidence, is that a good enough reason to preform an operation like this?" "A guard needs to have faith in his abilities, he needs to understand that his role is important, any attempt to show weakness will be interpreted by the other side as a chance to gain more strength"
15:06- "At the end of that night the prisoners surrendered, the IPS released a short statement, 'in an hour the prisoners lay on the floor and surrendered, we intend to trial them, sentence them and demand pay for the damage'"

This is it.
Frustrating. Frustrating that soldiers and officers act in disregard of clear orders, frustrating that it results in injury and death, frustrating that my country is then viewed as the the nazi murderous nation of the world.
Above all it's just sad, sad to see this idiotic death.
I know the true nature of my country and the people in it, I know this isn't it, but the actions of a few young soldiers can still shame me.

I'll just translate the last big of text from the page, which I found inspiring. This was aired, by the way, by the biggest mainstream channel in Israel, this is the mother of Israeli MSM, and it was aired on prime time.
