Obama Moves Forward with Internet ID Plan!!!

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this great site, but I have been coming here for quite some time.
This is for everyone out there who still buys into the whole team red/team blue game that we have going on in politics today; those people who thought that HOPEd that Obama would CHANGE everything. Well he is changing everything- just not in the way that most of us would like!


Don't worry about the major personal privacy issues that are violated due to this proposal, seeing as how it'll be led by PRIVATE companies who are in no way, shape or form associated with our government!

They're suggesting that it will create an "identity ecosystem," including obtaining a digital ID from an Internet service provider that could be used to view your personal health information, or obtaining an ID linked to your cell phone that would let you log into IRS.gov to view payments and file taxes. The idea is to have multiple identity providers that are part of the same system."
I don't know about you all, but I really don't like the sound of that! But that's still ok because they've addressed us "wacky conspiracy nuts" already! Everything is in the article folks, let me know what you think!

Interesting how it is marketed as protection for the public and businesses. I can't tell if there is good intent behind this or more of a malevolent effort for control. I'd say it is inevitable at this point.....

The thing is, no matter what they do, folks with ill intent will continue to find ways to steal identities, leaving us to suffer further with new regulations and limitations.

Personally, I think that it's a malevolent effort for control.... but I'm just basing that on my primitive knowledge of our government and all of their nefarious doings!

Frankly it scares me. I feel that privacy is an inalienable human right and should not be taken from us- even on the internet.

If this thing takes off and isnt refused. i can see great websites like this shutting down due to some of the things that are said on here haha the men in black helicopters will come. S+F

A username / password with a 3rd party certification. Yeah there.s a conspiracy for you. You have been using similar security for years. I guess they could just put your personal data up on the old net with -- no security. Why bother to try to offer something that is reasonably easy and secure.

I just don't like the notion of an ID to use the internet. They say it won't be "mandatory", but who knows what this will lead to? Who knows, maybe I should trust the federal government more lol.

I would hope that he was being sarcastic. Of course we have no absolute privacy. We have no way of knowing whether or not our phone calls, emails, letters or computers are being monitored. We don't know if we're being spied on or not, but we do know that in today's world, it's certainly a possibility.
They don't take our freedom's away overnight, they're eroded, bit by bit over the years so that every time that they do something like this, we all think "It's alright, it's just an ID. I'm not fond of the idea, but I'll go along with it since I have no choice."
So yeah, maybe he was right in saying such, but he was only about a century or so years off.

Everything is marketed with the usual pretense of it being for our own good. The NWO wants to fence us in and take whatever is in our pockets.
