I have played severally PC games over the years and i noticed large amounts of hidden occult symbolism and predictions in video games hidden from unsuspecting eyes or unless you noticed them.

Does anyone know the game series called Anno? well each Anno game starts off with a number from a year.

1602=9
1503=9
1701=9
1404=9
2070=9
---------
1+6+0+2=9
1+5+0+3=9
1+7+0+1=9

Each Anno game ends up with the number 9, you know the game designers could have gone with 1600, and they could used 1400 but why use 1404? the answer is Occult Symbolism.

Why have they done this, that i dont know although it looks like a code then anything else,in the game 1701 there are also some minor occult symbolism, where the player must find the eye of the dragon an ancient artifact.

In the old Sega system video game urban strike it featured one world trade center burning on the side where the supposed plan stroke, Urban Strike was made in 1994 a while long back before 9/11, heres the video of it where it shows destroyed that part.

Predictive Programming? Urban Strike (1994)

The 1994 action game Urban Strike, the third in the Strike series, features a scene where a giant laser deflects from a satellite, hitting the World Trade Center's Twin Towers. Further missions take place involving the effects of this, at the World Trade Center. Ironically, the game takes place in a fictional/alternate 2001 timeline.

What do you ATS think of Occult Symbolism in video games and have you noticed any occult symbols that look strange?

Occult Symbolism In Video Games The List
Command & Conquer
Starcraft II

personally, i thinks its just a coincidence. As being a games journalist myself i just cannot imagine the government would have any kind of influence on game-developers. Maybe nowadays, since the medium got bigger, but the games you stated date out of a time, where games where not really condoned by the government and wasn't big at all...

I am not saying its absolute impossible, but i don't thinks its like this....

im also voting coincidence. I have played 1000's of games and seen almost every scenario played out, some of it would be bound to happen in real life. However all thoose games adding to 9 is a little odd, maybe the developers see that as their lucky number or something.

The government is a cooperation, they have a huge power on the western news networks so why wouldn't the government have power over video game designers? remember how all these first person shooters are always pro American military, i am not saying theres anything wrong with that but.

Thing you have some gamers after playing several of the first person shooters having them making comments like the army is so cool i am going to join the army after high school, i have been notice comments like that for a while now.

At least from some gamers

As an avid game player I too have noticed the odd oddity in the games I would have played and do keep my eyes open especially for new release titles.

I think the government has everything to gain from being involved in computer gaming. The power to influence a generation of kids.

and the pro American military forces pc games such as Call of duty series runs like a good recruitment tool for the army.

In some of the western video games, it doesn't show you the gluiest sides of it, thats why there will be never any RTS or first person shooter games based on the yugoslavia conflict or Iraq either real based or fictional inspired based.

And yet i always thought gamers had the freedom to do so, the might have the freedom to make it but the game will not fly

To a number of secret societies, the number 9 (in a broad generalization) depicts the world under evil influences.
Does this fit the game annon?

Coincidences, when looked closely upon, are not coincidences.

In Black Ops, PS3, I'm pretty sure one of the newspaper headlines in one of the cut scenes says "Greenbriar"

Come on guys... You just want to see things... I can imagine that with real big company's there could be some kind of influence, production houses Like EA...
The reason why many games are American related is because those games, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, and many others are American games or European...

Then how come there are comments on the gaming forums after some teenagers made after they played some first person shooter games? games such as these.

I will be joining the marines after high school, this game made me think about it

heres another from an article
Modern First Person Shooters Games Tool For the US Army?
I know its old but worth the read.

Having been in the Army, the game may help you understand what to do but actually doing it in that instance is completely different. You don't think the same way with real bullets flying around you.

I think that it is an interesting concept and may be a good way to draw people closer to looking towards a career in the military
