Exploit-codebase virus?

McAfee keeps popping up and telling me that an exploit-codebase virus has been detected but the file can't be deleted or cleaned.Can anyone tell me what this is and how i would go about deleting it?Everytime i try to reply to a thread i have to resign in also my google bar and Mysearch bar are missing from my window..As well as if i use the same window for different pages it wont let me use the back button




I didnt know where else to put this thread so i put it here

What I would do is note which file was causing the problem and search for mention of it on Google. This might reveal what you should do.

First, make sure System Restore is off. This may keep backing up the virus and giving you major headaches. Assuming you use Windows just boot into safe mode and remove it from there. Or as Zzub mentioned search Google for the file, as there is usually removal methods and such circulating around the web.
