Avatar and profile picture help!!!

I have followed directions and can't seem to make myself a profile picture... I can't create an ATS media account. Is it down for some reason? It has been since I became a member. What do I need to do to create a picture?

I can't create an ATS media account.

You need to log in with your main ATS details.

If you still can't log in, and have changed your password in the past, try using your original one as well.

Nope! I figured it out thanks to the advice above. Now I just need to figure out how to close a thread....

Only Mods can close a thread, you cannot delete or close a thread on ATS..so nothing to figure out.

Thanks so much for this thread!!! I'm having the same problem myself - spent the last 2 weekends trying to put a picture and avatar up - but have had no success to date. I go through the initial steps - then get a message to go to the new media center - but there are no commands to upload from the media center. Granted - I am NOT very adept at computer skills - in fact you could say that I'm a computer dummy.
So if there is anyone patient enough to work with me on getting this accomplished - I would be eternally grateful. I got so frustrated spending hours trying to do this recently that I threatened my computer with bodily harm. I have a very old computer with Windows XP - could that be the problem????

Oh BTW...how do you make your signature font large like yours? Mine is so small, but I don't see how to change it....

Im nearly a year into membership and i still havnt been able to get an avatar up the way i want it. I got a picture on but it needed resizeing, thats way beyond my technophobic mind.

I know the feeling. Graphics are not my forte at all. I uploaded a pic and it didn't show. I'm stuck too. It only shows a little square with an X.
