I am a huge fan of the first two Bioshock games. I don't know they resinate with me in a way no other games have for a while.
Recently I heard Bioshock 3 was coming out and they changed the entire script, no longer are we in an underwater city but a city in the sky.
What do you think good or bad idea?
I think it's a good idea that they changed the scenery instead of playing out Rapture. I am a HUGE fan of the first two as well. I actually have a
full-size Big Daddy and Little Sister in my living room. I think if they made the third in Rapture, it may have killed the franchise.
It will lack the feeling of being in Rapture because you're not in Rapture. You're in Columbia.
A third game set in Rapture would have killed the franchise. Bioshock 2 already pushed my suspension of disbelief to the limits, a third just
wouldn't make sense.
I think part 1 had a better look and mood to it, but part 2 had more detail and better graphics.
If they could have merged the two together it would have been perfect!
Part 2 didn't have the darkness the first one had either.
This new one should be interesting and gives way to a whole new realm in Bioshock evolution.
What next city in Antartica? Future moon/mars city? The options are now limitless. . .
