For some reason the poles don't last very long when the women are competing.
but as technology progresses...

Was there something in particular that led you to ask this question, regarding his humanity (clearly this is a human)? If not, what is the conspiracy here?

Why aren't we all encouraged to develope our own personal skills to the levels displayed by those folks?
That looked like a small personal audience ..not a big financial spectator orgy

the conspiracy is
why are most of us encouraged to stay stuck on the ground?
never knowing the thrill of the accomplishment of hanging over the edge...
we could be extending the human envelope
why aren't most of us?

Yes, he was convulsing because of a seizure that was caused by a blow to the neck.

I got inadvertently knocked out when I was playing rugby once, and when I came to, my right leg and arm were violently and involuntarily spasming, because I apparently must've twisted my neck on landing.

As you say, there is no credible report of this guy dying the video, despite how extreme his seizure looked.
