The simplest way of putting it is, having read through theology books as a teenager and paying attention, studying up on things, for religous/spiritual works were amongst my chief interests, I knew what most people were taught what different people believed, and the differences between Catholic and Protestant, including had interesting converstations with a rather radical Protestant minister, who was far more progressive than most since he was a University Professor and only reluctantly filling the much needed role of parish. And after much more growth and understanding, breakthroughs and experience, read even further and can see things in a far more loving way, based on the real platform of Infinity and Progression and this school. And its all about Love.

No. Shame on you. You've condemned a person before you have heard them.

"He that answereth a matter before he heareth [it], it [is] folly and shame unto him." Proverbs 18:13

Show me your source where the picketers don't speak with grace. Oh that's right, you can't because you saw 3 words on a picket sign, got outraged, and concluded they were in violation before you even heard them speak. For that reason you are self condemned.

I watched the documentary and I would say honestly that they are part of a hate filled cult. I have witnessed this behavior before among so called Christians, and they were extremists into their cult and it was very sad to see. The kids in the group are being brainwashed, and so are the adults. they are walking around with blind folds on, seeing only they want to see not seeing the big picture, and they are bringing heir children with them. I was part of this type of brainwashing cult, and it takes many years to get out of the brainwashing thinking mind!! These kids growing up this way are either going to become murderers or rapists, or just freaking delusional if they keep with this mentality. I don't care what anyone else says Christianity is part of the new world order and thanks to extremists like these types of groups, they have kept us from going anywhere in our spiritual growth! These are not loving people, I would not want to be in their presence, I would probably be sick to my stomach!!

This is the dangerous game of mindwar, and it is easy to see who is winning. A Right cannot be abused. A Right is something you are naturally able to do, which no man or body of men has the ability to stop, prevent, curb, regulate, impede, or in any way interfere. You either believe in Rights or you do not.

Freedom of Speech. What is Speech but the expression of one's own mind. To regulate speech is to outlaw the self expression of our very own soul. When someone expresses themselves, they do no harm to another unless we take it in and let it harm us. We give that power to others. We yield our own will to theirs. When will it end? Dirty looks? Giving someone the finger?

I suppose it does not matter. Society has become so dependant on the Government to protect them from all manner of adversity we may as well have a remote control chip implanted in our brains so they can tell us exactly where they want us to be all hours of our life. Too late, we have TV.

It is a good time to be an outlaw. Give me liberty or give me death!

With Love,

Your Brother

I can believe you missed that post because you also missed an integral part of it:

Opposition to Al Gore, Bill Clinton, and Hillary Rodham Clinton During the 1992 presidential campaign, Phelps protested Hillary Rodham Clinton during a campaign speech in support of the Clinton-Gore ticket at the University of Kansas on October 14, 1992. In Bill Clinton's second presidential campaign, Phelps and the Westboro church also opposed Clinton and Gore because of the administration's support for gay rights. The entire Westboro congregation picketed a 1997 inaugural ball,[40] denouncing Gore as a "famous fag pimp."[41] In 1998, Westboro picketed the funeral of Gore's father, screaming vulgarities at Gore and telling him, "your dad's in Hell."[41]

Well well well. It seems Al Gore was the traitor in all of this. However, if I'm honest, because there does appear to be a connection between Al Gore and the WBC I'd have to say:

You may be right but that's an overexaggeration - There was even a court injuction against them picketing at dead soldier's funerals, and even still i'm quite sure nothing came of it. The American Consititution has protected them....so far.

www.msnbc.msn.com...

Although i would never wish for a law to be passed to restrict free speech i appreciate that the West (and other developed countries) are civilised enough to take action against blatent hate mongering.

What do you think about France banning the veil? I have mixed feelings, On one hand, it gives women the idea that they are allowed to be free and they don't have to submit to this ancient cultural opression. On the other hand, it is the state telling you what to wear. That's put's freedom of expression into question -

but then again are you allowed to be naked? Are you allowed to condemn women in public?

Again, i don't think Westboro Baptist Church is a specific psy-op conspiracy to opress freedom of speech or more of our rights.

Religion could well be conspiracy, we don't know the true agenda of the people who are forming these doctrines, Perhaps it was for the greater good, perhaps it was to easily control humans instead of letting them think free. Who knows?

Its so twisted its hard to wrap your head around.

Yet its classic textbook playbook when it comes to Conintel and Agent Provacateurs.

Sky News pegs WBC only consists of "about 150 members".
BBC estimates there are 71 members.

A compilation of the names of Fred Phelps' grandchildren and great-grandchildren,
combined with his nine "loyal" children and their spouses, reportedly numbers about 90 people.

So this "church" is really only basically one family....brainwashed from birth into this hateful way of life.

Its fairly easy to control a small group such as this and make them think this is "for real".

Pretty convenient all around.

This story is much bigger than this forum, when looking outside in at the grand picture, whether these people are telling the truth or not about a particular subject is irrelevant.

to preach about hate rather than the Love is misrepresentation.

to say your church only tells the truth is assumption and ignorance.

to protest hate at funerals? ..only breeds hatred in those who are without biblical wisdom. therefore, people who were once curious of Christ will now place unfair judgement on Him.

A person who wins 3,000,000,000 doesn't focus on the tax they have to pay, they've won a lifetime of luxery. if a person shoots out of their mouth the tax money they had to pay without telling them how much they've won.. (somewhat of an analogy, but there's meaning there)

On top of all of this, i'd really like to know the answer these people have if i were to ask them if they ever sin.. now, this would be interesting. because they sure do throw a heck of ' alot ' of stones.

This is an excellent choice of scripture for the topic my friend. I only wish you would have used more of the speech to emphasise it's full meaning. Indeed Christ brought a sword that caused great division in the world. It divided those who believed in freedom and equality from those who believed in Superiority and subservience. It was the sword of truth. This particular speech is quite relevant today, so lets have a look at it.

16Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. 17But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 18And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. 19But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Those who go forth in the mission of Christ are admonished to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Being harmless as doves, they are blameless in any persecution which might befall them. Still, spreading the message of love and equality that Christ taught, they would be persecuted. Having remained messengers of peace, they needed no thought of what to say in their defence, for peace needs no defence or forethought. The words come naturally form the heart.

21And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

In this time, brother would deliver brother up to death, and father the child, and children the parents for their was a system of iniquity in place that valued family bonds first, bonds to the temple, then bonds to the Empire. A message of love and equality was not wanted by most for the old ways were sufficient. Even now if you tell others that the way to peace is to share their earthly possessions with all, to love all equally, you will be met with hate and hostility.

23But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

There is an old African proverb that says "Don't go where you aren't welcome." The same holds true with those who spread the message of Peace. If your message of peace is not welcome, leave that city to the war it desires.

24The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. 25It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

None are greater than another. The servant are AS his lord, the disciple is AS his master. Thus, as they persecuted Christ and his message, so to will his disciples be equally persecuted.

26Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. 27What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. 28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Fear nothing but those who can destroy the body and soul in hell, Hell being the bondage of religion and Empire. All things are the work of our Father, even so much as a sparrow falling to the ground. It is that Father who knows the count of the hairs on our head and values us all above all others.

32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Confess Christ IS the Son of God, and Christ will confess before the Father that you too are his child. Deny him, and he will like wise deny you. Equality and Love is no more simple than this.

34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Now here is your line. Indeed that sword of truth is brought. Indeed it causes great division. Who is willing to accept that they should love a stranger as much as their very own child? Who will accept that their love should be as great for their enemy as it is their own mother? How many will reject such sound doctrine as we should love all equally?

37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

He that loves their father or mother MORE than Christ is not worthy of him. He that loves any Man more than all others is not worthy of him. His message is one of equality for all. If you do not love all with the same fervor, then you are not following the teachings of Christ for none is more worthy than another. If you are not willing to bear this burden, to walk in his ways, to risk your own life through persecution and death, you are not worthy him. For when you risk your life in the name of Christ, in the message of peace, then you find your life.

40He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. 41He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. 42And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

Those who receive anyone preaching love and peace in the name of Christ, receives Christ.

Now those at the WBC may be preaching hate and discord in the name of Christ, but to subdue their speech is to subdue your own. Let them speak their message of hate and discord and falsify Christ's message, but in protecting theirs, use your own to spread his true message. Love them that hate you. Make their hate unprofitable by countering it with love.

That is what Christ would do.

With Love,

Your Brother

No, I did not say that Jesus is twisted.

WBC is twisted, and the fact the The Government uses provacateurs is twisted.

What does Jesus have to do with the WBC?

For the time being...its obvious WBC is a cult. There are plenty of actual Baptist ministers on
record that denounce this church as a cult.

WBC can use the Baptist name, as its not copyrighted.
So...understand anyone can take the name "Baptist".
Doing so does not make them of the Baptist faith, let alone Christian.

This Fred Phelps is a despicable man by his
actions he continues to prove such with his lawsuits, and hate.

Let me ask you this in parting...

What did Jesus say about lawsuits?

What the WBC "actually say" on multiple videos in this thread, some over 80 minutes in length, is exactly what the bible says. They read verbatim from the bible. Word for word, without even holding a bible. They just know the passages that well. I've fact checked everything they say and it turns out to be accurate. Therefore you are saying Jesus is twisted. Written Words cannot be twisted. Because if their spoken words come directly from the bible and you're saying they are twisted then you're also saying the bible is twisted. The volume of the book is about Jesus.

What specifically have they interpreted wrong?

If you're reacting to a 3 word title like "God Hates Fags" then you can't make any assumptions about what they mean until you've heard them explain themselves.

The latest Lawsuit, which they won, was filed against the WBC. They were defendants. They were not the plaintiff. Jesus did indeed have some things to say about lawsuits, and are the Phelps in prison? No.

Much love to you.

What the WBC "actually say".....

I see you did not answer the question.
I asked, what did Jesus say about lawsuits?

What He said; Christians should rather suffer wrong than do wrong. I Cor. 6:7.

There is no defence for Fred Phelps actions, he is a hypocrite; and a vexatious litigant.

And worse yet, he does this in the name of "Christianity".

Jesus cast out the money changers and called them whitewashed sepulchres.

1964
Phelps earns a law degree from Washburn University in Topeka, but has trouble joining the state bar when no judges are willing to vouch for his "good character," the normal procedure under Kansas law. Phelps overcomes this obstacle by providing recommendations from others.

Before the end of his legal career in 1989, Phelps will file some 400 suits, mostly in federal court. Estranged son Nathan Phelps will claim later that part of his father's strategy is to file frivolous lawsuits in the hope that his targets will settle to avoid the costs of defense.

1969
Until the mid-1970s, the Phelps family's main income reportedly comes from using the children to sell candy door to door for several hours each day. The children are also required to run several miles a day.

Also this year, the Kansas Supreme Court temporarily suspends Phelps' law license on three counts of professional misconduct. But it denies a request by the state board of law examiners to have Phelps disbarred permanently.

1972
Phelps files suit against lawyers, county commissioners and a judge in Topeka, alleging illegal acts by a "political machine" in Topeka. The defense answer says Phelps' suit was motivated by an earlier, now sealed, child abuse case against Phelps.

This same year, WBC is sued by two companies for failure to pay for the candy resold by the Phelps children.

The church is ordered to pay a reported $5,760 in one case; it settles for $1,650 in the othersource

They are one hell of a nasty evil and "twisted" organization. They funded a white supremacist group, and it's on record. They attack truth groups. I could give you 100 links that prove the SPLC are liars. The SPLC is a PSY-OP. start at 40 seconds here:

And another: Christan News Wire exposes SPLC:

Jesus cast out the money changers and called them whitewashed sepulchres.

And you ought to research what fractional reserve banking is today. What Jesus did 2000 years ago needs to happen right now today with fractional reserve banking - the federal reserve in the U.S. and the bank of England in the UK fund the PSY-OPS

I don't like Fred Phelps at all. Don't like his face and I don't like some of the things he says. He's not "Charismatic" and neither does he admit to being Charismatic. However, the WBC are the real deal, and You've fallen victim to a real PSY-OP that attacks and demonizes the truth.

Look at my first posts in this thread...

He has a background as a disbarred Civil Rights Attorney...from that era of his life the story
that stands out the most is the one of Carolene Brady

Think about this strange love hate relationship; as this Westboro Cult is a target of the
Southern Poverty Law Center. How perfect a fit is that?

Both Fred Phelps, and the SPLC are vexatious litigants www.abovetopsecret.com...

However, Phelps record speaks for itself. Easily verifiable in hundreds of other sources.

law.justia.com...

So much so that his litigations are a matter of National Security; NorthCom
puts out advisorys when he makes announcements of his protests.

They actually put out Security Advisements because its a fact that Fred makes most of
his money when he sues people.

www.blackfive.net...

His long lititagous past clearly demonstrates he has no genuine "Christian" faith, as
if he was "the real deal" he would follow the commandments of Jesus.
