If a person fully understands the disgust Our Father has with homosexuality in the old testament... even though searching for answers may not be in the New Testament on this particular matter.. Why would a homosexual want to play russian roulette with The Lord ??

No my friend, I am not the Grand Marshall of the Rainbow Parade. I do not think they would have me as I do not fit that lifestyle. If they could get past that however, I would gladly fill the role. That aside, I offered an opinion and pointed to the more appropriate thread for this matter to be discussed. Where have I passed judgement on anyone?

If you had started a thread on a subject YOU wished to discuss, would YOU be content as others came in to derail it with off topic debate, particularly when the off topic debate is of such a volatile nature it would take many pages of back and forth between the combatants?

If you wish to debate that matter, take it to the appropriate thread. I am certain this is what you would want done if you had created a thread on a matter you wished discussed.

No, i don't believe it's mind control. These people genuinely believe in the bible. If you believe in and follow a fundamental ancient document, you become fundamental. You woudn't want to anger the fundamental God besides.

Religion, in the way presented in most Christian churches, is a form of mind control. If you belong, and dress differently, grow your hair or beard long, have a lot of tattoos showing, drink a beer now and then, then you are shunned by the church. And I really cannot wrap my head around someone believing that the Bible is all true, and must be followed literally. It is chock full of contradictions, plagiarisms, and outright lies, and it tells the story of an angry, jealous, and cruel God, who is all about punishment and fear. I also do not understanding why, in light of the vast knowledge available today, why anyone would need a "Lord" anyway!

Yep, well said. I thought exactly the same as you yesterday when I read one of IAM's posts. I've got a question for IAM though: Just a straight question. I'm not being rude or mocking. I'm genuinely looking for the truth. With this thread being about Psy-ops and anti gay sentiment of the WBC I feel it's appropriate to ask this question - IAMIAM - are you gay? And if so, don't you think your views of the WBC are likely to be tainted and therefore a search for the truth about Psy-ops in this thread is stifled by opinions rather than facts?

No my friend, I am not gay in the way that you mean the word. I am gay in the traditional sense of the word though.

I love all, and I will stand in defence of anyone who is oppressed by the judgements of others. Psy-Ops are only effective if you allow others opinions to alter your own. If you accept no one's opinions, but simply love them without forming an opinion, then you are free of the Psy-Ops of this world.

Everyone who forms a judgement uses Psy-Ops on others to get them to agree with their judgement. The more they can convert through their mindwar, the more righteous they feel in their judgement.

No Judgement is righteous. All judgement stems from what we have experienced in this world. Thus when we judge, we judge the very world we live in and others experiences of it. It is a never ending cycle until one comes to the realisation that THEY have the control. They can choose differently. They must choose differently if they wish to escape the traps of judging everything, and thus being judged. They must choose to love every moment of everyday.

I love Gays, and I love the WBC. Neither are right, and neither are wrong. They simply are what they are.

I did not call WBC haters. I stated a fact they proclaim themselves. "God hates fags!" - WBC. That understanding of what God hates comes from no one but WBC themselves. My God doesn't hate fags. My God Loves all for God IS all.

Did I say "I" hate WBC or that my God hates "WBC"? Have I condemned them in any way? Nope. They are free to express themselves how ever they wish. It is only an expression of what they have experienced in this world and how they have judged it.

Laz is going to tell you the truth about Wesboro Baptist Church. I lived in the area (Kansas City) and decided to do some research on them, to see what was really going on. The godfather of the whole operation is a mean, bitter, disbarred Kansas lawyer, who has a chip on his shoulder concerning just about anybody. He got disbarred for his courtroom antics and for badgering witnesses. That gave him a good background for what his group does today. They say outrageous things not because they really believe them (although the lower followers probably do), but for the express purpose of pissing people and impelling them to take a punch, slash a tire, or smash a car window. Then they sue. That's how they make a living, pure and simple. The best thing to do is to ignore them.

I go to different Biker Churches across the country as I ride and we are almost to a man..........long-haired, bearded, heavely tattooed, dress in ragged jeans and leather jackets and MANY of us have a beer or two after services. The women often show up in tank tops, short skirts and are also tattooed

In this C-SPAN clip all the callers agree with Margie Phelps. I too agree with her. In fact any sane rational minded individual can clearly see that Margie Phelps is an outright winner in this debate by a wide margin. The clarity of her responses and the eloquence with which she states her case is undeniable.

If you've condemned Margie Phelps already before you've investigated her, then you'll have a hard time watching this. While you watch, your subconscious mind will be telling you "She's right" but your conscious mind will be telling you to hate her. That's because you've been preconditioned to hate by the first wave of media attention you saw on the matter. I'm just trying to break down your psychological conditioning so that you might see the truth.

A song that a bird learns in its infancy is a song it will try to sing for life. Influence our perception of the WBC from the outset and we will stick with that perception even in the face of overwhelming evidence like the following video.

The Psy-op is really obvious and clear to me. The media have put us under hypnosis and most people in this thread seem to be clinging to irrational beliefs to explain away what they don't understand about the Phelps. It's much much easier to say the WBC are a psy-op than it is to accept that you yourself are under hypnosis.
