Ok folks, you have 10 minutes to potentially save my life,

I am cooking hash browns and eggs, only the potatoes expired "some time ago." The way I see it is, they have been frozen for all time, it was a brand new package, and really, what could happen to frozen potatoes?

Will I die?

You'll be fine man...as long as there is no mold. Might taste freezer burnt if they have been in the freezer for a while though. Dig in.

Nuke them in the microwave if you can.

We'll keep watch and if you stop posting we'll know why.

Good luck, and don't forget to check the date on the eggs.

FEAR MONGER!!!!! lol. I think what he is seeing is just a "best by" date. You have to be careful with meats and dairy but not so much with frozen hash browns. Personally, I'd eat em'. Unless they taste freezer burnt, thats pretty gross.

Well that was disgusting. Goochball was right: very freezer burnt. So I drenched them in ketchup (which had an expiry date of 10/MA/12; I REALLY hope that is May 10, 2012
).

But I know the eggs were safe: fresh off the farm (my mom's friend, so I know for a fact) just 2 weeks ago.

Nasty supper, but it will sustain me until the morning, when I will go to the grocery store.

Thanks guys.

I figured so too. Especially when you cook 'em with cayenne powder. YUM-O! (Except this time, when they were freezer burnt)

lol, don't listen to that guy. He is trying to make you sick

Even if there was a worm it would be a dead one, just extra protein.

Whew!

I laughed when I saw you wrote "he" in reference to me. Good call. Us guys are kinda dumb, taking risks most women would not.
