here it is :

Max Planck (1858–1947) won the 1918 Nobel Prize in Physics “for his work on the establishment and development of the theory of elementary quanta.” Max Planck is universally recognized as the father of modern physics.

Erwin Schroedinger (1887–1961) was granted the 1933 Nobel Prize in Physics “for the discovery of new productive forms of atomic theory.” Schroedinger also contributed to the wave theory of matter and to other fundamentals of quantum mechanics. He is the founder of wave mechanics.

Werner Heisenberg (1901–1976) was awarded the 1932 Nobel Prize in Physics “for the creation of quantum mechanics, the application of which has, inter alia, led to the discovery of the allotropic forms of hydrogen.”

Robert Andrews Millikan (1868–1953) won the 1923 Nobel Prize in Physics “for his work on the elementary charge of electricity and on the photoelectric effect.” Millikan determined the charge of the electron and verified Einstein’s photoelectric equation.

The inventor of the laser, Charles Hard Townes (born 1915) received the 1964 Nobel Prize in Physics

Arthur Schawlow (1921–1999) co-inventor of the laser, won the 1981 Nobel Prize in Physics for his contribution to the development of laser spectroscopy and for his revolutionary work in the spectroscopic analysis of the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter

William D. Phillips (born 1948) was granted the 1997 Nobel Prize in Physics “for development of methods to cool and trap atoms with laser light” and the 1998 Arthur Schawlow Prize in Laser Science.

William Henry Bragg (1862–1942) was awarded the 1915 Nobel Prize in Physics for his contribution to the analysis of crystal structures by means of X-rays.

Guglielmo Marconi (1874–1937) received the 1909 Nobel Prize in Physics for his invention of the first successful system of wireless telegraphy. Marconi is the inventor of the radio;

Arthur Holly Compton (1892–1962) was granted the 1927 Nobel Prize in Physics for his discovery of the Compton effect

I. I. Rabi (1898-1988) won the 1944 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on the magnetic properties of atomic nuclei.

Abdus Salam (1926-1996) was awarded the 1979 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work in electroweak theory, which explains the unity of the weak nuclear force and electromagnetism

Antony Hewish (born 1924) received the 1974 Nobel Prize in Physics for his discovery of pulsars.

Joseph H. Taylor, Jr. (born 1941) received the 1993 Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery of the first known binary pulsar

Alexis Carrel (1873–1944) won the 1912 Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology “for his work on vascular suturing and the transplantation of blood-vessels and organs

Sir John Eccles (1903–1997) received the 1963 Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology for establishing the relationship between inhibition of nerve cells and repolarization of a cell’s membrane

Joseph E. Murray (born 1919) was granted the 1990 Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology for work that “proved to a doubting world that it was possible to transplant organs to save the lives of dying patients.”

Sir Ernst Chain (1906-1979) received the 1945 Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology “for the discovery of penicillin and its curative effect in various infectious diseases.”

Sir Ronald Ross (1857-1932) received the 1902 Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology for his remarkable work on malaria.

Sir Derek Barton (1918–1998) won the 1969 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his contribution to the development of the conformational analysis

Christian Anfinsen (1916–1995) was awarded the 1972 Nobel Prize in Chemistry “for his work on ribonuclease, especially concerning the connection between the amino acid sequence and the biologically active conformation

alter Kohn (born 1923) won the 1998 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work on the development of the density functional theory

Richard Smalley (1943-2005) won the 1996 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the discovery of fullerenes – the third elemental form of carbon (along with graphite and diamond).

When was the age of atheism...I think I missed it.

I think hes trying to show that believing in God doesn't mean that your a crazy and ignorant person. It also shows that some of the smartest people in the world believe in God, whereas most genius scientists are fully evolutionist, like Hawking. It also shows the other side that belief in God does not compromise the belief in anything else, and does not make you closed minded.

so what's your point op. atheism has been around forever. to say you know there is a god is jumping the gun and making an unnecessary implication. of course you can believe in whatever you want, but who cares that they believe in any gods?

Actually, it doesn't matter which you use...as both are a literary creation and do NOT need to be validated.

It's always been the age of Atheism but charlatans and frauds keep making up fairy tales in an attempt to subvert the masses. Even in modern times new "cults" being formed, with ease, and are confusing the people - Scientology anyone? And they use exactly the same techniques as religion throughout history. Cold reading on a universal scale.

OP is an Atheist. He is Atheist towards all other God's but his own.

A recent poll by the National Academy of Sciences says that 93% of it's members do not believe in a god. That's NINETY THREE PERCENT do NOT believe in a God.

"Look, nobody really knows where all this stuff really came from but I think I'd rather trust the dudes in lab coats who aren't demanding that I get up early every Sunday to overdress and apologize for being human." -Anon

I think I am going to stick with the Scientists. 93% is good enough for me. Those 7% will come around eventually.
