Looks like trouble is brewing in Nigeria now, too:

www.presstv.ir...

Police say they have no suspects, and it looks like a pretty wide open field for elections:

A presidential election will be held in Nigeria on April 16, and gubernatorial elections will be held on April 26. The incumbent president will be facing 18 challengers in the election.

Can you imagine what our election process would be like with that many presidential candidates?

PS: I know I put it in the Middle East even though Nigeria is in Africa. At this point, I think it worthwhile to watch the entire region as a whole, as they all seem to have at least some effect on each other.
