Let me correct HAARF and write it again. The ability to "Focus" on the target was the issue.

I don't think HAARF can cause earth quake in a certain desired spot on earth. The gigantic antenna is a electromagentic energy transmitter without having any directional focus. If it can cause earth quakes, it can cause one right here in the US in the San Andreas fault region first. So they should be extremely careful on what they are doing. In other words, this means that HAARF can not be the cause of the earth quakes anywhere in the world. It is a conspiratorial conjecture without having any scientific base.

I want to hear from a scientist on this argument.

We are being taught a lesson.... unfortunately people aren't listening.... its trying to tell us that Nuclear isnt the way forward!!!!!

I have been looking for news on this, and as someone mentioned earlier, all coverage seems to have been halted in favour of Libya and other crap.

Are there any substantiated reports of damage or casulties or people that have been hurt? Any substantiated reports of additional damage to the nuclear plants?

It appears to me that we are speculating on here about a bright flash (me included) and HAARP due to the lack of anything concrete.

Does anyone have any updated concrete information?

Well I think we can rule out this being a key indicator or they are manipulating the data. Given the large amount of solar wind and pressure I would vote probably in the later of manipulation. Or it was just going to drop regardless given it was an after shock and things are settling in the area.

Its really sad for the people and kids of Japan. I was listening to a pod-cast from Steven Quayles site and one thing that this catastrophe has done is remove just about every last drop of Potassium Iodide from the market.

When I suggested that there seemed to be an increase in activity like before the great quake in March, my thread of course was not taken as a scientific question on the facts as they appeared but sent to the wishful thinking page. But as you can see, I had at least brought it up. And again, there is an increasing buildup happening, again.

Exactly! It seems like everything that happens in the world is blown out of proportion on this website. It's mainly people who are looking to escape their mundane life by thinking up these exotic movie-like scenarios involving HAARP and over things.

Newsflash guys, earthquakes have been happening since the creation of the Earth and they'll continue to happen long after we're gone. It has nothing to do with HAARP, it's mother nature.

I really am starting to feel bad for the people of Japan. What is going on over there anyways with all these earthquakes?

Its getting more and more ridiculous watching incidents like this unfold on ATS.

First there is the race to open the first thread. Then open other threads with slightly different angles.

Most of it is then how how people are telling us the pain and suffering they are feeling and how their hearts are breaking for the people living through this. People who like facebook can come here and share these feelings with everyone not like facebook where you can only talk to friends.

Its getting quite daft having to see how much this hurting people who have to bear witness to these events unfolding. People are so ditressed having to watch this on the news.

Then we move to who can be blamed. The Sun, solar flares, supermoons, secret spaceships flying overhead, any nearby comets in the vicinity, HArrp. Why? Well because they all look shifty. Don't look for any proof. We dont need that. Suspicion is enough. Forget about the fact the country is located over major faults.Thats too logical.Lets throw the goddam logic out the window.

Yes, whats happening in Japan is a terrible occurance but can i just say what kind of bloody idiots set up dozens of nuclear plants on a small island sitting on a major fault lines.

THe only thing I would be concerned about here is that a lot of media are reporting this as 7.1 aftershock. I believe there was 7.0 a day or two before the 9.0 the last time. Are they going to get another big one, only time will tell. But I am sure there is enough time for plently of crackpots to flood youtube with more predictions to cover the next few days so that if disaster does strike they can claim the trophy for hitting the bullseye.

( imagine if a human could cause an earthquake. not the sun , the moon , comets , haarp, or anything like that, but just a human. not that is so bloody stupid, isn't it)

Onagawa nuclear plant loses part of outside power
Japan's nuclear agency says the quake on Thursday night disabled 2 out of the 3 outside power lines used at the Onagawa nuclear power plant in Miyagi Prefecture.

The Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency says the plant has been using outside power lines to cool its nuclear fuel rods since the March 11th quake. The agency says after Thursday's quake, the plant is using only one remaining power line.

The agency says there is no change in radiation levels around the plant as of just after midnight Thursday. The agency is trying to confirm the current status at the plant.

I've said it before and I'll say it again , whilst we all like to think that HARRP is the reason behind all of these so called disasters its not true. It is just the earth showing us who is boss !

HARRP doesnt cause earthquakes , however it is highly likely and possible that somewhere some scientists working for some defense manufacturer has created a weapon that can mimic or replicate the effects of an earthquake or natural disaster to make it look natural . what better way to kill of your enemies than to blame it on natural disasters, All very well I might hear you say !

Then comes the question , if someone does have this technology , then why not use it on your real enemies.
For instance if america had this technology or russia had this technology or china why arent we seeing its effects on each other. WHy hasnt the US tested this in afghanistan or Iran or Israel.. oops maybe not that last one actually

Anyways you see the point , it is highly possible yet there is no way we can actually tell if its happening , if a weapon can create a natural disaster , then how can we tell them apart!

I suggest we lay aside the fantasy for a moment and focus on the people and wildlife that may possibly be lost to yet another natural disaster .

I'm not buying this HAARP business.
