Don't be too hard on yourself gncnew. I didn't vote for him, but I did lightly defend him in the 1st hundred days or so after his election. In my mind
he was who my nation that I love elected, and wanted. I was willing to defend him as long as he kept his end of the deal. That didn't last too long.
It is now painfully obvious to anyone paying even a little attention that he is a liar, an elitist, and is obviously on board with the agenda to
cripple America. I don't agree with posters who call him stupid, or inept. He KNOWS exactly what he is doing, and is accomplishing his goals with
great accumen. "We the people" are the ones who have become stupid, lazy, and/or just apathetic.
The solution to all our national issues is a grassroots change of heart. "We the people" need to become engaged, and involved in politics again. It
IS important. It IS changeable. We are the politicians bosses, and we have fallen asleep at the wheel for about three generations now.
Why not raid the coffers, and gold brick about all day? The boss doesn't care. He can't be bothered to even look. All we have to do is keep the TV in
his office tuned to some reality show, and remind him how much trouble it is to keep tabs on us, and we're golden. When the cats away the mice play.
Right?
It's time the cat awoke, and started crunching some mouse ass. Democrat, and republican they have both failed miserably. The dems want to anesthetize
half of us to death with handouts, and entitlements. The repubs want the other half of us for cannon fodder for the corporate machine to pay for their
secret buddies, the dems, anesthetic. It's like it is the dems job to distract the boss while the repubs grab the cash.
I don't know if we can do it or not though. As a whole Americans are so easily distracted, it's like we have a national case of ADD. If we get too
hot on someone's case they just have the MSM throw us a cute ball of string, and away we run to play with it, and forget all about the corruption we
just witnessed. Where is our collective sense of outrage? We are being screwed dry, and we don't even care?!? If not then we deserve what we
get.
