Was that battle between Armed Forces and aliens beneath Dulce ever debunked?

Just curious! I remember reading about this a long time ago and found it intriguing.

Were these reports ever debunked or proven false?

You pose the question backward on purpose perhaps? When was it believed enough to need debunking?

I lived quite close to Dulce, NM for many years. No one told us about an underground battle.

I'm not saying it didn't happen; just that the locals weren't informed. I spent a lot of time around Dulce, camping, fishing and playing blackjack in the casino and when I asked the local Jicirilla Apaches about the base, they just rolled their eyes and ignored me.

I am not sure there was sufficient proof to begin with. All we have is this phil guy who lost part of his fingers, but an blast from an alien weapon isnt the only explanation for that. His whole story sounds fishy. Why would they send in non combat personell along with spec ops?

Yea, local Native Americans know the base exists and won't go near it. Anyone who ever claimed to be there and talked about it either can't be found or was found dead. Draw your own conclusions.

That's not really the case. I've been up on Archuleta Mesa a few times with my NA friends and as far as I know; nothing has happened to them or me as evidenced by my appearance in this thread.
