So, about a month ago, I was outside walking my dogs, when I noticed in the sky a helicopter. I look up and watch it for a bit, and then another one catches my eye. I look around some more, and I count at least five helicopters in total, flying all around the area in different directions. Thinking nothing of it, I went along with the rest of my day. Then, late that night, I awoke to a bright, sphere shaped light flying through the sky, at insane speeds. The size, compared to the clouds, made it massive. It was as big as my fist from around ~1000 feet up. I do not live near any airports, there were not reported planes crashing in the area, and this thing was moving much to fast to be a helicopter or plane. I have no idea if the two previous things, or the next thing I am going to tell are related, but for some reason, I believe they are.

So, a little bit spooked, but nothing more, I continued about my business for the next 3 days or so, tending my garden, throwing some compost onto it that included some extra bits of fish that no one wanted, I go back inside and into my living room to resume reading 'to kill a mockingbird'. now, my living room is located right near my garden, and the window was open. If you broke down the wall where my sofa was, you would be right at the garden. After about 3 hours, it was dark, and I hear the oddest scratching noise, and an odd growling or chewing noise like a dog eating something in my garden. I peer out the window, and I am shocked to see this pure white, extremely odd looking dog. It's legs were long, and gangly in proportion to its body, it was around 2 and a half~3 feet in length, and it was digging holes in my garden, eating the fish bits id placed as compost. Thinking nothing more than a stray dog that looked a bit odd, I grab my .32 handgun, make sure its loaded, and walk out the front door to make my way around.

I make it to my garden and immediately see the creature, the moon shining off its glowing white mane, when I notice that it's legs and lower body are completely hairless, and I can see its emaciated ribs sticking out of its belly. Thinking the poor creature has some advanced case of mange, and possibly rabies, I cock my pistol to take a shot. As I cock the gun, the creature whips around with an almost unearthly speed, and that's when I started having doubts it was a dog, or anything from this world, or maybe even from this dimension. It's sunken, black rimmed eyes nested two, blood red beads, red glowing eyes that frightened me to my core, and teeth that stuck out of its mouth, approximately 4-5 inches in length, and it reared its head back in a snarl. My immediate reaction, now fearing for my life, started shooting at it, unleashing several shots into it, at least 3 hitting it. Its reaction was minimal at best, and it sped off across the yard, jumped onto my shed like Ezio running up a wall in Assasins Creed 2, and jumped off into the creek below, a 30 foot drop. I stood there, stunned and frightened, and listened to its paws splashing through the creek as it ran away.

I saw it on at least seven occasions in the next two weeks, once climbing out of the creek the next morning, one time several days later sitting in the trees (by this time, I figured it had very sharp, hooked claws, which it used to scale things) sleeping, three times in my garden, but me being to frightened to go out and do anything about it out there, and once ambling about near my car (about 50 feet away from my house).

The last time I saw it, and by far the most chilling, was about a week and a half ago, sitting outside my kitchen on my porch, glaring at me with those horrible, red eyes. I stood there for god knows how long, meeting this beasts gaze, it must have been half an hour or so, maybe more, but we stood there, eyes locked, until it threw back its head in an earsplitting, stomach curling howl and sprinted off once more. I have slept with my lights on since then.

The day after that incident, I again saw the UFO I had seen some weeks previous, speeding by my house again, and I have not seen my mystery monster since then. This leads me to believe it was, indeed, an extraterrestrial, an experiment that was put on Earth, or maybe just some escaped cargo, or maybe the two events were not linked, but this seems the best conclusion I can come to. The other two, less likely explanations, are that it was some kind of unknown creature, a cryptid, or if my fears are true, a hellhound. But seeing as I am still alive, my hellhound theory is unlikely.

So, to recap, this creature was:

Pure white fur on its back, legs and bottom hairless

Sunken, black rimmed eyes, two blood red glowing eyes

Visible ribs

A snarling, otherworldy howl/bark/growl

Hooked, sharp claws that it uses to scale buildings/trees

otherworldly speeds, speeds I have never seen before on any living mammal of that size

An apparent affinity for fish, as it loved dining in the creek, and eating my fish compost.

about 3 feet in size

Long, gangly legs, disproportionate to its body

Apparent immunity to bullets/falling?

Can anyone help me Identify this thing, or tell me if they have seen something similar? I am truly frightened to leave my house at night anymore, not knowing if it will be there, stalking me.

Sounds awfully like an Albino Coyote with mange to me... Try and grab a picture next time you see it

If the animal has mange and is struggling to survive it will be very skinny hence the ribs and the disproportionate looking legs.

ETA or just an Albino Dog with mange, an Albino Bear's also a possibility...

wouldve posted is my guess. just happened to hang around for over a week, also has ufo's in the story in which IT COMES BACK.

troll, or the worst documentor EVER. i would glance for a moment and see a creature like he described and a camera would NEVER leave my side. but he apparently stared at it for a half hour without snapping one pic
maybe because it doesnt exist?

belongs in skunkworks unless you can back up your claim with anything by the way

The way you describe the creature in its dimensions, temperament and howling makes it sounds a lot like a sick Coyote.

Seeing as I don't own a camera, and the nearest place to get one is about a two hour drive, I suggest you find someone else to call a liar.

i agree that this is probably just a dog or whatever but the fact that the guy didnt take any pictures doesnt mean it isnt real. maybe he doesnt have a camera and maybe he was so very scared whilst staring at this thing that his first thought wasnt, i had best take a picture or the guys on ats will think im crazy. that would be the last thought to cross my mind.

That is somewhat similar, but it didn't look like it had mange from the range I saw it at. It's hair just sort of thinned out from the top to the bottom, and was completely hairless on the bottom, but not losing any skin/had any sores on the naked areas.

Much closer than the last, a lot closer, in fact, but the ears are much to large, and the tail is very long, unlike the thing I saw. The claws are also unfit to climb trees, as the creature I witnessed had the ability to do.

EDIT** and I shot at it the first time I saw it, it appeared many times since then.

I dunno, some good points but I wouldn't discredit because he didn't do what you would have. I often forget I have a camera on my phone as well
I really don't see any reason to make it up other than for a decent short horror story, lol, it seems like he is legitimately looking for a possible ID on this beast.

To OP, I thought it was creepy you stared at it while its sitting on your pourch *chills* Obviously the lack of a photo really puts this in a dead end as far as being extraterrestrial. The description points to cases that are very much possible and likely just here on Earth.

That is one terrible hound though, I know that sounds awful since it's likely deformed and just trying to live but I certainly wouldn't be taking in a pet like that.

I really want to get everyone to understand this, I don't own anything that could capture images in any way. No cellphone, no camera, no webcam, nothing. If I could have gotten a picture, haters be damned I would have gotten a million pictures of this thing, but I live in a pretty rural area, and there isn't anywhere I could go to buy a camera that wouldn't have left my dogs alone for four hours with something that can climb freaking buildings. I was terrified throughout the entire window of these happenings to even leave my house!

Off topic but i'll add this anyway:

My advice would be to not put any kind of meat into your compost, as you've found you'll attract wild animals to your garden which you may not want around.

The last thing anyone wants to hear is a story about a local kid being attacked because you attracted a hungry coyote or fox into the area.

And you'll probably get a rat/mouse infestation if you put meal scraps into your compost.

but for this to occur over the course of weeks? does he not have friends either? if he does do they not have cameras or phones either. a two hour drive wouldve improved your thread tenfold. it just doesnt add up, even if you didnt have a camera (because of your story that it keeps coming back

how about tracks? no footprints? crap, you cant take two hours to get a camera, a plaster mold is completely out of the question. so no, just because someone wouldnt do things the way i wouldve doesnt mean its fake, but complete lack of anything over the course of weeks points to that either way.

either way, the fact that there is no attempt WHATSOEVER to get hard, or even photographic evidence, or audio of "the howl" shows that he really doesnt care to find out what it is other than posting on a site where a minority will gobble this up. there were no animal control calls, no calls to the police for a potentially rabid animal, no attempt to take 2 hours out of his day except to hang around ats for 2 hours talking about how he couldnt get evidence when if he cared at all he could make a friggin documentary

(according to his skunky story.) go ahead and look up my posts before calling me disinfo too, btw. thats the frustrating part. i have an open mind as long as the op isnt against even trying to get evidence.

again, skunkworks

the behaviour of speed climbing and bullet proof sound like a alien creature that attacked a family in the 1950s but the way looked seems more like some kind of dog type animal

but after weeks, and then thinking "hey i better post this for the guys on ats" it wouldve been a good idea, aye?
but if he didnt even call animal control when he was so worried about his animals? if it showed up once, a call wouldnt seem reasonable, maybe even twice. but continued visits? it just doesnt add up, even if he cant take pictures.

It didn't seem rabid, and while I feared for my life, the police would think I was crazy! What kind of sane person would take me seriously if I called on the phone in hysterics screaming of Hellhounds attacking my garden at night time and prowling around my house?! I do not have anything to take pictures with, it would have been a four hour drive, two hours each way, and I would NOT leave my animals alone with something this terrifying! I have no reason to make this up! I don't keep things like plaster mold kits and cameras and #ing audio cassetes to capture the embodiment of the devil howling at me around my house!

And to whomever posted about the bulletproof creature that attacked a family in the 50's could I please get a link to that? It seems to be similar to what I was stalked by.

He's talking about this:

en.wikipedia.org...

But I don't think it's connected to what you saw in your garden.
