ATS-CON 2012!!!

Shouldn't the date for this event be 12/21/2012.

It just seems, since this would be a profitable event for ATS, that afterwards things may not be as crowded.
(This statement is for skeptics and believers alike)

This is fantabulous! I'm already saving up my vacation days in the HOPE that we can pull this off! It would be smaller that comic-con (in the beginning at least) but it would be MUCH more fun!!!

Tinfoil hat design contest...YES!!!! That would be awesome!

Heck, just think of the guest speakers! Jim Marrs is already a part of this site and I think Stanton Friedman contributes too, why wouldn't they want to be part of this (assuming their respective schedules allow)?

Come on Mr's (Misters not Mrs.) SkepticOverlord, Springer, etc... Let's figure something out, I'm sure you'll have TONS of volunteers ready to jump when you say jump (Count me in that number!)...lol

Maybe we can make it a 20 December 2012 Bash!!! That way, if the world ends on 21 Dec 2012 at 11AM or whenever you wont have to care about a hangover!!!!

12/12 would be really good but so close to the Holidays..and weather.. you would lose potencial market.

End of September, October is SO good in Tahoe. Perfect weather.... Great rates in town.

No tourists...except people going door to door selling UFO figurines made out of soap!

And the bears running around mooching before they go back up into the hills.

Anybody can do a conference. Pulling it off , having people show up , and feel good about forking over the dough AFTER the conference is over is different.


If you paid 50bucks admission to hear guest speakers, AND got a ATS flashlight that flashes ATS up in the the darknight like Batman distress signal?

I bet they could get 60bucks at the door.

I was so excited when I was opening this thread to find it was an April Fools Joke. I would go...we could all wear the fake nose mustache and glasses with tin foil hats. Anonymity accomplished.

I absolutely love this idea! Except I imagine it being some place where attendees can camp if they choose to. That would be a great tie-in for the survival forum.

There are so many members on ATS I would love to kick back beside a bonfire, cold drink in hand, and bs with!
