Japanese Approve Human Cloning.

TOKYO - Japan's top science council voted Friday to adopt policy recommendations that would permit the limited cloning of human embryos for scientific research, an official said.

This is no surprise. I always say, if it can be done, somebody somewhere is going to do it.

I'm gla dthey are pursuing this. The research gained from such a project could cure many diseases and help us in many ways. I just wish the U.S. had the intestinal fortitude to join in.

As long as they stick to only cloning organs, and not full humans, I'm in. But I just get the feeling that a few years from now we're going to be growing our own slaves. Haven't these guys ever read Frankenstein?

I mean, sure, this could advance medical science lightyears, but think of the ethical implications.

I don't know, maybe I'm just paranoid.
