Thats right.
I've never played with ouija, and never will. I dont think anything funny / nice / good will come out of it.

Cheers

I have actually, but i was a kid... Never really believed it worked but i've matured since then... Anything is possible if you believe in it honestly.

I think i'd have another go if the people i was with were very positive enlightened people so to speak, and wern't out to pull a scam..

i never reply in this forum but here it goes..

yes these board are not to be messed with AT ALL!!

i hope this boy is ok!

when i was younger we were mucking around and wanted to know if it worked we didn't use a ouija like you have in america we made our on on a wooden table,

after a few times with a group of friends we failed and nothing happend
we said we would give it one more go and all of a sudden the glass that we had our fingers on
flew off the table and smashed on the wall!

this was enough to scare the # out of me so i stopped and said i didn't want part in this anymore
but for my friends they were just getting started, this time i just watched who ever we contacted was not making any sence at first just a bunch of random letters then all of a sudden one of my friends was on the ground shaking his eyes were in the back of his head!

at this point i was crying begging my firnds to stop they finally did after our friend was taken to the maori cheif to be blessed and he came right after that!

we had to get our house and each indivual involved blessed as lots of weird stuff started happening after we messed with this like the clock on the wall would tick with no batteries in it something in the roof would follow us around like it was watching and waiting!
was the scaryist thing i have ever been through and would wish my experience on anyone ever!!

no i learnt my lesson not to mess with the dead/spirit realm
DO NOT MESS WITH THINGS YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND!!!!

be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it!!

karma

Put this in another thread but thought it worth mentioning here, very similair:

The Ouija board I wouldn't touch with a barge pole for 2 reasons. Firstly my Mum used it as a kid and the glass went flying across the room, but the second was the clincher for me.

When I was in school in 2nd year the 6th formers used to go on outward bound trips with the PE department to the Lake District and sleep in bothies (purpose made stone huts on the mountains). This particular group came back from their few days trip and I was told that somebody had taken a ouija board for the laugh.

They used it and one of the lads went crazy and it took 3 people plus the PE teacher to hold him down. The trip was cut short and they all came back.

Now that happened in my school, not made up at all. Don't touch the damn things. People may scoff and say ah nothing happened to me but it only takes one event to mess up everything, including your mental health.

Nuff said

I dont really have an opinion myself either way on the ouija board, however my mom told me a story when she and her sisters were teenagers they played with a ouija board. One night after they had used it my mother claims she saw a dark figure standing at the foot of her bed. She told my grandmother about this and she threw the board into the fire in the fireplace. It was then as it was burning my mother says she heard blood curdling screams comming from the board. Just thought i would share that story.

Now that is scary! Watching the board scream in the fire...
Someone told me that once you mess with a ouija board, it should be "properly disposed", but never knew what he ment.

Anyone knows how to dispose one? Just curious

Interesting story, we also had to burn our board. I honestly don't remember the steps, but one of girls had to call her mom (who was into all sorts of occult type stuff) we had to do a series of steps to make sure whatever it was left, and finally burn the board. I remember that we took out the lake, said some sort of prayers, lit the sucker up, and then once is was burned took the ashes and tossed them into the lake.

I have no idea what it was that came through, but it wasn't good. We "played" for a little less than 2 weeks, at first everything was fine and interesting, it really was addictive we did it every single night. The things the board would say were almost funny, and we just thought we were having a good time. The last night however, was more than any of us bargained for, and we couldn't handle it.

I think that is the most dangerous aspect of it. We were a group of high school girls who were just looking for a fun way to kill a few hours before bed, we had no idea how to deal with spirits or anything of the sort, and most of us weren't really expecting anything to happen, out of the 5 of us, I'd say 4 were skeptics of the whole thing. Thankfully, we had someone who was at the very least mildly experienced with the process, and she had her mom who knew what to do, or something you could do clean up your mess. Most people I gather, especially those that buy the boards at Toys R Us, don't have that, and who knows what the outcome would be......possibly full on possession.

A little hard to believe any of the stories here. Intriguing nonetheless.

I don't understand why would you not continue to experiment with this if you've made contact with the spirits. I'd love to have something take over my body or communicate with me from the other side.

I dont think that a mass produced gameboard and a hunk of molded plastic really has any significance in contacting "the spirit world". In this case I would check to see what they were doing before they started using the board, ie drugs, drinking etc. Maybe the church is haunted or maybe the kid is mentally unstable.

However, isn't that a bit like saying "I doubt a massproduced key would work to lock up doors"?
I mean, from everything that is said about the Ouija boards, they work as "keys" or "Doorways" open up passages to other realms.

Reminds me of someone that once said; "Playing with a Ouija board without any experience, is like putting up a big sign on top of your housedoor opened up on wide, saying; "ANYONE is welcomed in!".
Such an action is bound to result in something bad sooner or later.

they will also open up doors in you!

Oh I know, even though I've had my own experiences I still doubt others stories
I know it doesn't make any sense, but I've been lied to before.

I can only speak for myself, I will never mess with it again because I had no control over the situation, simply saying goodbye doesn't work if it doesn't want to leave. I don't think the ouija board is the same type of communication that a person experiences when they channel spirits (but I don't know too much about channeling either). If a spirit possesses someone that person has zero control over them self, which to me is not something I want to get into.

My younger bro was obsssesed with " pen god " as a kid. Until one evening it literally took over his body. Witnessing this and being useless to help...oh man...scary. We took him to the hospital, and since then he has nver done it again.

I was replying to this reference made>>>they work as "keys" or "Doorways" open up passages to other realms.
Just like this above statement is not a physical door but spiritual, the doors you open in yourself are spiritual. Anytime someone calls upon spirits by any means.

How do demons enter? Demonic spirits gain access into the life of an individual through what is known as a door way. A door way is a vulnerable area in the life of a person that becomes open to the access of evil spirits whether through voluntary or involuntary means.
Dabbling in the occult is by far the quickest way for demons to gain entrance in the lives of humans. This is because most occult activities involve having direct contact with demonic spirits. Whether it’s dabbling with Tarot cards, Ouija board, Necromancy, Witchcraft, or any other means of consulting evil spirits, will certainly open up the door way to demonic bondage.

Thanks for the reply, yeah I read the key comment, I just wasn't sure what direction you were going. I appreciate the clarification.

I feel the same way. I'm not too versed in the other methods you mentioned, but I've never seen any good come out of the board, in my experience.

Long story short...(and true for what its worth)

I was alone...

About 20 years ago I asked it for the lottery numbers...

It slid over to the "NO"

I asked why?

It moved to " Y-O-U- W-I-L-L-T-EL-L-E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E

I shoved that thing back into the box and put it back int my parents closet.
I have never touched it since and dont plan too.

I am not saying that my post is true or not. I can not speak from experience, cause i personally have had none with a Ouija board. I m just passing along the story I heard to keep the flow of the thread going.

I don't believe in demons, but have some suspicion of entities of lower or higher conscious evolution, which doesn't carry exactly the same definition, but .....

even discounting entities, the willful choice to try to contact or pull forward from the depths entities can also simply pull forth your own "demons" (the metaphoric ones). Our subconscious is full of life, in a sense, almost unlimited potential, and you could pull up thigns in yourself you'd be better off leaving buried.

In this case, for example, the deep subconscious fears of father that develop in boys very young and in love with their mother, it may have sunk down to where it isn't influencing him at this point. But in reaching for the father outside, he can be bringing up the "father within", which has more to do with the psyche than any other outside entity! But can be just as damaging.

I suspect lots of the negative experiences people have with those are due to the energies within the users that are projected outwards, and unacknowledged (not "owned") are unbridled and unpredictable.

For your own sanity, ESPECIALLY teens, when psychic energy is high and powerful, I have always thought it best not to touch them.

I would say the kid has some underlying physical or mental issue and is nothing to do with a Ouija board.

I've played with those stupid things many times and it's all bunk. It moves because you and the other people touching the pointer make it move, either intentionally or subconciously.

When I played with it, with people who "believed" - it was amazing how it seemed to know the answers to my questions (of which only I knew) when I was touching yet. Yet when I asked the question aload when I wasn't it was wrong every time.

However, if people WANT to believe ghosts and spooky demons and controlling it, then to them, it's real. To people with an education though....

Nope, you can buy them here in various shops and from online UK sites as well.

Again, they're make believe - nothing factual about them apart from their comedic value.

I will touch those things with a 20 foot pole. I heard too many bad things happen with Ouija boards. I heard it can open door ways and make the house super haunted.
