Libya has been a major source of state-sponsored terrorism going back a long time, it would be naive to think the US didn't have plans to deal with Gadhafi at some earlier points in time;

I don't see this being the cause of the current situation, in fact the US is already handing control over to Nato for the no-fly zone.

Gadaffi has been quiet for years now so I guess I am wondering why now? What about all the other recent regime changes that have happened recently, no US attack there now was there? Apparently the Syrian government also resigned today, this mess is just going to explode to even greater heights real soon, I pray I am wrong.

Gadaffi has been waiting for the right POTUS to reveal his weakness and ambiguity to the world. Obama has been laying that groundwork since his first days in office.

Can't watch the video now (at work), but I would imagine that we've planned invading Libya many times over the years. Keep in mind we've already bombed them in the past (Killed Ghadhaffi's infant son in the process), and we should have staged a coup after he bombed that airliner, or that German nightclub he bombed that got several US servicemen killed/wounded and many German innocent civilians killed/wounded.

Also Libya and Ghaddaffi were not responsible for the Lockerbie disaster.
They took responsibility and paid billions in compensation in return for the lifting
of sanctions. This explains the controversial release of the accused recently.
Ghaddaffi recently, in so many words spoke out against 9/11, claiming al queda
were based in New York. All leaders know the truth about the fakery surrounding
9/11 and speaking out brings them down.
Also, there is a lot of fakery involved in correspondence from Libya and one would
be foolish to believe all the spin put out by the deceitful media.
This makes obama and other leaders blatant liars.
They all need to be outed and brought down.

The United States prepares and keeps current war plans against a whole host of nations, both friendly and hostile. They're typically color-coded. My favorite is the now-declassified War Plan Red, which outlines a war against Great Britain that starts with an invasion of Canada.
