Earth is not involved but Elenin - Sun - Mars looks kinda aligned. The perfect Elenin - Sun - Mars alignment will occur on Apr 7. Well, let's see if something big will happen during the 1st week of April.

I'll say this again for old times sake. Comet Elenin was not discovered until Dec 2010. The Earthquake that hit Chili was Feb 27, 2010, 10 months before the comet was discovered.

Comets cannot have any effect on EQ or pole shifts or magnetic fields around the earth. They just dont have the mass needed to create any kind of gravitational pull. And if gravity from a passing body could cause EQ's why doesnt the moon just pull us apart. Oh thats right its not strong enough and its way way bigger than elenin.

Just because they discovered it in December, doesn't mean it didn't exist to have the effects on earth. Your comment was very unintelligent.

Everything major and possibly exciting in a Global Event never happens. EQ are norm all major fault lines will eventually have the big quake. California is due for it and its been that way for many years.

Well this one will not be all that bright from what I've read about it. Hale-Bopp back in 95 was very bright. It was the first comet I've ever seen with my own eyes and it was quite a site in the night sky. I live on the east coast of the US. I saw it twice during that year.For several days in April when it was headed toward the sun and again in November on its way out of the solar system back to where ever it goes. It was previously unknown having an orbit of about 2000 years. But in 95 I think the biggest quake was about 7.4 in Mexico.

Sorry but the San andreas is not a Tsunami producing fault. It lies under the land, not the ocean. Plus it is a slip fault and the experts do not feel that it is capable of a quake bigger than 8.0 in any event. Not that 8.0 is not bad. It is and it would cause massive amounts of damage in the area it struck but no dear no tsunami from San Andreas. Now if there is one on the Cascadia subduction zone you could have water in Washington State, Oregon and California as Cascadia is underwater. It is not a fault it is where two tectonic plates meet.

The Moon balances the earth in her rotation and orbit, introducing another body into the balace obviously throws it off. Agreed a 4km asteroid prob not big enough to disturb old mother earth, but could definatley see it causing some type of unrest within our delicate system.

The moon is a satellite of earth. It does nothing to balance our rotation and orbit and as a matter of fact the moon is slowly moving away from earth. One day it will escape our gravitational pull on it and say bye bye to us. Someday the earth will not have a moon but for now its a nice little light in the night sky and its gravity effects our oceans only. Not our place in the solar system. The Sun does that job.

Well there you go. You got me. Of course it did exist before it was discovered. But its a comet and its mass is very very small. It does not have the mass needed to have gravity enough to effect anything at all. So no matter where it was before it was discovered it didnt have anything to do with the earthquakes on the chart. Nothing at all. It cannot. Its impossible. Period end of report. Is this a more intelligent comment for you?

comet EXISTED before discovery, you can backtrack an orbit once you know it

Gravity is produced by mass. Our planet has more gravity than the moon because it is larger. Jupiter has more gravity than earth because it is larger. when you see striking obvious correlations throughout history and in front of your eyes, the proper reaction is to question...not to say there's nothing there, move on . we still have many things about space, time, all that stuff, to learn, and these are clues to new breakthroughs. you don't have to agree, but just nay saying is, well, just nay saying

maybe there is more to it than you realize, considering only a few human beings have ever been into space

That may very well be. I hadn't actually thought of that (that she might just be so genuinely concerned and trying to get her loved ones out through this.)

My main point is what you said though: there's no basis - that I or you can see - for the prediction that a quake will take place on the 31st. There's a circumstantial basis for a link to the 11th, but that same circumstantial basis failed to produce an event on the 21st. My only conclusion can be that, barring other evidence (which is always possible; one always has to remain open to possibilities imo,) the prediction for a quake on the 31st is baseless, unless I'm completely missing something.

Again, that isn't me asserting that nothing will happen on the 31st. It's just a challenge to the idea of an Elenin-Earth-sun alignment having any sort of consistently proven affect on quake probability. There doesn't appear to be one so far.
