The problem with this girls latest prediction is that it is date specific, no one on Earth has publically been able to predict earthquakes to the date on a reliable consistent basis. Perhaps there are a few genuine psychics about......but show me one where they have been able to predict major earthquakes correctly time after time?

Why are you so anal about this, oh so logical one?

If Japanese people had seen her youtube vid, and had taken it seriously, peoples´ lives could have been saved.

That is a fact.

If I lived in Cali near the coast, I would make sure I would be out of there for the weekend. Seriously.

You are not displaying any logic at all, if you dismiss this second warning beforehand.

I don´t see the point in you in here arguing against these predictions, when you can just save your breath, and come back in two days, to see what happened.

Maybe then you can gloat afterwards. That´s the only reason why some people are so passionate in debunking predictions.

It´s lame. It´s such a safe thing to do, because you´re almost always right. And when your not, all logical form of thought dissapears, obviously.

What I don't understand is why she said she's going to the mountains? If there was a large earthquake coming, why would she chose to go there?! I would be getting out of state if I were her. Also, wouldn't the animals statewide start acting up by now if the earthquake was 3 days away? Usually they begin at least a week or two ahead of time.

Greetings:

We have an dream about a map that would correlate many apparently disparate information databases based on part of what you said about animal behavioral anomalies. Do you have a link to any of what you speak? I am particularly interested in the time factor you spoke of. Check this out:

Perhaps, you would also be so good as to respond to this project with personal related information or you might know someone who has witnessed any of these things to add to the map - and it's easy!

From what we know at this time, it appears that many of the earthquake lights appear about 30 minutes before a major earthquake. With enough data, it might be possible to postulate the birth of some sort of "early warning system," based on real-time data from enough respondents over a broad area - or pinpointed in places like Yellowstone, New Madrid, SoCal, Alaska, etc.

As a first responder and having lived in SoCal for 40 years, I can tell you that a 30-minute lead time on a quake could save thousands of lives.

How about assisting in this project which will correlate earthquake lights, strange sounds and rumblings - before, during, after - and earthquakes. The information collected could possibly lead to some sort of earthquake prediction system here within ATS if the data can be analyzed for some sort of predictive pattern. The idea is to collect the correct data from the start - and as soon as possible IMHO.

I, personally, would welcome any advice/help/suggestions/interested parties to make this idea better and a reality sooner.

It might be interesting to see if any of these sounds have "Earthquake Lights" associated with them before/during/after the sounds and an earthquake? Or were there sounds/lights and the EQ hasn't happened as yet - we really do not have enough data to make an informed decision as to the amount of time between events...?

Here's another thought...what about pre-quake smells? And tie-in the die-offs and the pre-quake behavior of animals on another overlay... then do one with HAARP activity and ...OOPS...treading on quicksand there... move along, there's nothing to see here.

Please help to spread the word to as many people as possible to quickly build the database as this information and map may prove to be quite timely - especially to people in the Yellowstone/New Madrid/West Coast/Alaska areas.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

These challenges to life and sanity on this planet must be met with clear minds and sound hearts, so may your 2011 see you embracing its highest potential and onward through the fog!

I think we should all have 72 hour survival kits in our homes just in case of an emergency. I'm not saying build a bunker etc. or stock pile like crazy but most government recommend all citizens have a 72 hour survival kit in case of emergency. You need 1 gallon of water per day, per person, food and other items (if you Google it, you will find what you need). Maybe keep a map in there too, inside of a plastic bag so it can’t get wet.

All very sensible ideas. This has been discussed at length in both my households (I work in one place but live full-time in another). We have a very good dry food supply and our needs would most likely be medication and hydration. We know how to shelter in place and we have a good supply of sea kelp. My only worry would be that me + possibly 4 (including a newborn baby - not mine, but we're all family) could not evacuate before rioting broke out. We do have a place to evacuate and a route mapped. I'll be laminating it today.

I believe in preparedness, not paranoia.

I really don't like to add to threads that are overblown, unnecessarily long, but I feel that I have to add something in this thread.

The challenge is this: People make predictions all the time, any member here has seen these dozens of times, we see them, we get excited (well some might!). And then we watch for the next one to come along...
A brief look at this persons account on YouTube indicates multiple postings, as well as her favorites list full of typical alternative videos, indicating her liking of the topic, and there's nothing wrong with that...
Therefore if such a person gets something correct (the Japan Earthquake, which was truly disastrous to see as we all know... God help them!)...
Well she was correct to the extent that she indicated a large earthquake would be forthcoming in an earthquake prone area during a period of elevated earthquake activity in that region...
Well then... such a person is more likely to ride their "fame" and make more predictions.
She has indicated a specific date this time.

There will be earthquakes, and anything above a 4.0 will be heralded as her vision coming true.
However anyone looking at the USGS website on a regular basis for California-Nevada will be very familiar with the constant stream of small rumblers that happen. You can go there anytime and pretty much guarantee that during any given week there will be such an earthquake.

The other challenge is this: that during 2011 there will most likely be one or two larger quakes (5.5 - 6.5 or even higher!) happen somewhere in California (or Baja), if the past year or two are anything to go by... and such an event will of course re-open this thread and all will be hailing this person as having insight.

Well, I'm sorry, but you can ask my kids, my neighbors, or random people passing in the street with their dogs (well, you could even ask their dog!) and they'll all tell you that there's a big one coming... and yes I live right here in sunny San Diego... and yes - like any normal sensible person we have a plan, we have a backpack full of emergency supplies, not 'cos this persons prediction scares me, it's because the inevitable will happen, but hopefully not in our lifetime.

Me - I'll watch my dog, and if he starts to run for the hills (or a large flat area away from buildings and overhead wires!) I'll follow HIM!

100% on the money GildedLily!
Like you - we are prepared, we have a plan, a meeting place and a backpack that we can all get to, with emergency supplies... be it an earthquake, large fire or other horrible event... hopefully one that will never happen, hopefully the dust will sit on that emergency backpack, but any normal sane person living here in California should have a plan and a pack like this...

Here's the thing... If you live in California and take every earthquake prediction to heart, you'd be bugging out every weekend. You don't just cancel all your appointments, take your kids out of school, etc... because someone gets a "bad feeling." I get "bad feelings" everyday, especially when I come on websites like these. That's why I'm on Xanax

March 15th was supposed to be something bad. Like a paranoid freak, I kept my daughter home from school.

March 19th -26th there was supposed to be a bad earthquake, so we left for the weekend. Seriously, I'm starting to feel like a major fool.

There's the deal, there are no mass animal deaths in California. There was ONE instance of a whole bunch of fish dying in a bay. Scientists went on record saying they suffocated due to lack of oxygen after trying to escape a red tide from the previous storm. I know this is a conspiracy website and everyone here thinks scientists are lying. But what if they're not lying?? Fish die for lots of reasons, not just because earthquakes are imminent.

If there is going to be a super earthquake in 2 days, I suspect we would have seen maybe some more anomalies like the one described since a month ago when these fish turned up.

Anyway, my report... birds all normal, bees all normal, dogs and cats all normal in Hollywood. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

On to another page, and still no answer. Can someone please respond to these questions?

Her basis for this prediction is alignment between the Earth, the sun, and comet Elenin. They were close to alignment on March 11th, yes, but they are not close to alignment on March 31st. In fact, they are much closer to alignment (or were, I should say,) on March 21st. Nothing happened then, and she did not make a prediction for that date. Why not?

On September 26th, they will be virtually perfectly aligned. She made no mention of this. Why not?

She says on March 31st they will be aligned or close to alignment ala March 11th, but I'm not seeing it. What is she talking about, and why is she mentioning March 31st but not two other dates on which they are much more closely aligned/lined up with one another? Is 31 a typo for 21? (i.e. was she looking at the 21st, saw the alignment, and thought it said 31st?)

ssd.jpl.nasa.gov...

I would also like to ask: why did she make a video saying an angel told her not to be afraid and that these disasters would be a good thing, and that no one would be harmed, yet then make a video yelling at people that, "I hope to God that makes sense to you!" because no one was listening to her warnings?

Does this not throw the entire basis for the prediction into doubt?

EDIT: Nearly an hour later. Please do not let this thread go to another page without addressing these questions, as the entire basis for her prediction is predicated on this.

I understand, but were those other predictions also made by sources that had predicted a devastating earthquake, remarkably close, just weeks before?

I don´t know, this girl is special, and she is onto something, imo.

Her first prediction had a more scientific basis, and it´s a bit much to go by a bad feeling, I agree. But still.

Make of it what you will.

WW1 and WW2 were the most devastating man made disasters.

The Japan crisis, which many believe to be natural, to me, with all things considered, is the most devastating natural disaster in modern history.

She might have gotten lucky, she might have inside information we were not privy too, or she might have a trillion dollars...lots of mights, only one FACT.

FACT: An accurate quake warning was given for an event of historic proportions. Period. Case closed...come on people can't you give some credit where it is due?

Anal?

Perhaps you should take a look in the mirror pal!

If you think this lady can predict earthquakes fine.......go run to hills......and a why not make a financial killing on it by placing a bet at your bookmakers.

Perhaps even go round with a in your car and start warning people to get out of town quick.

Honestly some people will lap up anything, don't tell me UrgentInsurgent you also fell for the March 15 pole shift BS.

When I saw her first video I couldn't believe someone was so stupid as to pronounce New Delhi "New Del-Hee" like they were so cluless that they didn't even know of the existence of New Delhi. I guess basic level intelligence isn't a requirement for being able to predict the future.

Yea I give her due credit for predicting a big earthquake.........but I don't credit her for predicting the Japan earthquake.

In her videos, she talks of meteors, volcanoes, tsunamis, earthquakes and super volcanoes.........If any of these things happens within a few years are you going to credit this girl with those too?

You would be a failure as an inventor. You can't believe something when everyone else isn't believing it. You don't have the ability to dare to be proven wrong.
