Yea, there will be someone predicting a fiery apocalypse or an earthquake or alien invasion at any particular moment on youtube. Somewhere along the lines one of them is bound to get it right out of sheer coincidence.

Someone is always saying the world is about to end. Well we been here for quite a while.

Ok im new on ATS so and it wont let me start a new thread but this seems like the best spot to post what im about to say. Last night i had a dream like i never had a dream before it seemed as if it went faster than any other dream iv ever had before but alot of stuff happened in it. My entire body felt like it was vibrating like from head to toe was just pins and needles feelings and when i awoke in the middle of the night i remember sitting up very quickly and take a giant gasp of air...and being scared shi**less of what had just happened. I will try to remember most of the dream cuz it was creepy and i actually tryed to forget some of it. The dream began with me being in California, for whatever reason, with my family, my dad, step mom, step sister and little sister Im 19 . I live in florida so idk why i was in Cali...a weird part of the dream was that there was never no specific date ever mentioned BUTT and again this dream seemed to go by alot quicker than any other dream, i remember that it was a few days from today. Again i dont recall no specific date Like saturday or sunday or 3/312011 only that it was a few days from Todayy. There was a massive earthquake that hit California, No magnitude or nothing was ever mentioned as far as i can remember Butt I was there in California sitting in the backseat of the family car while the earthquake was happening and i do recall there being alot, alot of damage everywhere. AT THIS POINT in the dream I FELT as if my body was vibrating or haveing that pins and needles feelings from head to toe, i tryed to wake myself up because i did not want it to turn into some crazy nightmare... but I could not wake myself up. So in the dream while me still being in the back seat behind the passenger seat and my father driving, a cat appears on the front right fender of our truck, but for some reason it seems to be very close to me. This cat is the reason i could not wake myself up, he would not let me wake up. And since the cat has appeared i was staring at it straight in its green and black eyes. The cat, (Dont ask me how) than stops time or maybe skips time or something but everything just skips forward like 5 seconds, (me AND my father both notice this) and than the cat is about 2 inches in front of my face directly on the other side of the rear passenger
window and was as if it was communicating with me telepathically. I cant remember what it was trying to tell me i really cant iv been trying to remember all day but it is those black and green cat eyes that i have been trying to get OUT of my head all day. Still staring into the cats eyes, they become the only thing that i am able too see, everything else just becomes black and the last image i can see are those black and green eyes. And than it lets me wake up..... I know it sounds weird, cuz it is very flippping weird... and it was very scary at the point where i could not wake myself up cuz i ALWAYS wake myself up if im having a bad dream. This prolly means nothing and im prolly losing my mind but hey its gotta happen sometime right so the sooner the better lol Can anybody give me some thought about what you think this dream might mean? Humans cannot "predict" anything. The only sure way to know the future is by pure statistical analysis. And even that has its major flaws. No, the only one who knows the future is God himself. And just as a last word, if this disaster DOES come to pass, then I'll be damned. But it's too bad that it won't happen.

Sounds like you have been seeing all the stuff on tv/internet about the earthquake in Japan, and you are now, like a lot of people when the media overexposes us to certain subjects, dreaming about said subjects. Happens a lot when the media tv/internet/paper constantly covers one subject. It burns into your psyche and invades your normal thought processes or in your case your dreams.......On a side note, cats are evil and are plotting on you as we speak

So an odd thing happened tonight in San Francisco CA on the car radio stations - there was a warning. Started like an Emergency Systems warning or an Amber alert but it mentioned earthquake and tsunami and going to higher ground. Then it stopped. And when we looked up on the web to see the news there was nothing. And I even called a couple of news stations and they said they showed nothing of having done it. But at least 4 stations had it simultaneously.

Isn't that odd? Maybe a systems check? And the interns answering the phones didn't know?

I don't know what to make of your dream. But the cat is interesting. About 3 years ago I had a dream about 3 witches flying over San Francisco during an earthquake. I actually like witches - big harry potter fan but that dream scared me so much I woke up shaking and have never forgotten it. It was the scream of one of them. Blood curtling and loud like magnified for the whole city. And they were greenish. I hadn't even seen Wicked yet don't know what a that was about - but it's the only nightmare I remember ever and I'm 44 years old. spooky.

I had a dream after visiting the bay area of Ca, Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, San Mateo, etc. In my dream I had left Ca for a long time and when I returned all of these cities were gone and beneath water.

What was there was a huge dome like rounded building that was like a visitors center. I went inside of this and saw many pictures on the walls of the cities that once were, and after the great quake.

A man in this dream took me to a computer with a large screen and gave me a presentation on the event that took all of these cities. I looked out of a window, for a brief moment and saw nothing but water and this man told me, "most everyone flocked to Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon after this great quake".

At the time I had this dream I was considering making San Francisco or San Mateo my home, but I changed my mind. I do think something will eventually happen but I am not sensing it will take place on March 31st. I believe this will all take place closer to 2015 - 2018.

I'm not trying to say the girl is wrong on her prediction, there very well may be a big quake happen, but as for the big big one that is going to overtake the land on a massive scale, I do not see this happening for years.

Wow, its really stupid and irresponsible to tell people to abandon their homes based on a stupid youtube prediction from a clear paranoid schizophrenic (watch her "miliary experimenting on me" videos to see classic evidence of mental illness, stuff like getting in an arguement at the library or store apparently = the govt hired the whole world to harass her/experiment on her, and other such nonsense she says). People can lose jobs, lose trust of loved ones, lose alot of money, freak out their family, etc if they "get out" cause someone on youtube said to based on a "bad feeling" and some mumbo jumbo about planets forming a v shape. This thread fails on so many levels and if nothing happens on the 31st I hope you feel bad for telling people to "get out" and making your and her paranoia effect peoples real lives.

Okay...so...this girl is a religious nut.
However, that's not the point.
She focused on March 13th through the 15th, she does not focus on March 11.
And...she does not focus on Japan at all. She focuses on the New Madrid fault line and LA. She mentions Tokyo only because she's parroting the physicist on television. Which she does repeat a second time, but only to repeat some of (not all, for she leaves out Tehran the second time) the cities she parroted previously.
And...she says that this alleged comet's "alignment" last year was responsible for the Chile earthquake, but for some reason, the comet was discovered in December...which, I'm fairly sure is ten months after the fact.
This girl does not focus on any other real specific place, and she certainly doesn't focus on the pacific area. She clearly states that people living on "any" fault line.
That could be anywhere.
She at no point predicted an earthquake in Japan, and she absolutely, irrefutably does not predict any event for the eleventh of March.
Fail.

Yes, I don't understand why people feel so compelled to tell others what to believe, based on what they believe.

OK, I don't believe there will be a mojor event March 31, so I am going to go and challenge anyone who says there will be, no matter what their information is based on, without giving any information why I feel this way.

I hope nothing happens, I really do. I am sure it would make no difference to the people who are telling everyone to move along and ignore the fear mongering, but if it were me and I had told everyone to move along. If I told them I knew nothing was going to happen and then something happened, I would feel so horribly guilty.

If some of these people deprive just one person of the sense to get out of an area that may be subject to disaster based on a prediction or estimate derived from hoo-doo voo-doo or actual science it would be a tragedy.

I am sure they wouldn't feel any guilt for costing the person their life or possibly the lives of smeone's family and friends, but I know I would. If there was even a chance that something like this could happen, then maybe it is best to not warn people to stay put. Maybe you should encourage them to take a trip out of town if they feel strange, regardless of what your personal beliefs are.

I know if I had family in one of these areas I would feel much better if they were not there after seeing the events of the past couple years. Added the speculation of what could happen and I would be twisting their arms to move to a safer place, geologically, for the long term.
