'Al-Qaeda snatched missiles' in Libya

AL-QAEDA'S offshoot in North Africa has snatched surface-to-air missiles from an arsenal in Libya during the civil strife there, Chad's President says.

"The Islamists of al-Qaeda took advantage of the pillaging of arsenals in the rebel zone to acquire arms, including surface-to-air missiles, which were then smuggled into their sanctuaries in Tenere," a desert region of the Sahara that stretches from northeast Niger to western Chad, Deby said in the interview.

I think the article should say. CIA gives AQ access to missiles.

Was there not an article last week that claimed the rebels in Libya that we are backing and arming are actually AQ? Didn't some big shot admit that some of his front line fighters were the same "terrorist" that were fighting American troops in Iraq?

This is all just a bunch of BS and it stinks to high heaven.

I believe this to be a cover story of propaganda.

It gives the Rebels in Libya an explanation
of how they got those arms they are using.
The CIA doesn't want anyone smart
enough to track CIA missiles to
Al Queda so hence the story
of how they got them.

Will the real boogeyman please stand up. Our government has to create the latest "threat" because, according to their own assessment, Al-Qaeda has been reduced to nothing and capable only of blowing up high school toilets with a handful of M-80s.

And now they say that they are closing in on Bin Laden.

I see it like this. "Combat related" operations have ended in Iraq, or so they say. Now they are hot on the trail of Bin Laden, and I say they "catch" him in the next few weeks. Probably caught the SOB years ago and of course kept it quiet until they met the objectives of their agenda. That should end our operatons in Afghanistan. So an end to operatons in Iraq and Afghanistan, IMO, is nothing more than code for "Let's rest and regroup. Next stop, Libya/Syria/Iran."

I, for one, have grown weary of this bull$h!t war and watching young men and women come back with limbs missing.

Mmmmm... setting up a false flag shootdown somewhere perhaps?
